The home’s location is great. Private but still has restaurants right in the resort area (walking distance). A good mid-point between Islamorada and Key West and everything else between for those who want to explore but stay somewhere without the noise and crowds. Would be great for families too! We had a great stay at this bright and open 2-story townhome in the heart of Duck Key! The location is ideal—right in the middle of the Florida Keys—making it easy to explore both Key Largo and Key West. The home itself is airy and inviting, with plenty of natural light and space to relax.One of the best features is the two balconies. The view from the master bedroom balcony is absolutely breathtaking—there’s nothing like watching the sun set over the intercoastal waterway. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day of adventure.There were a couple of minor hiccups: the ice maker isn’t working, but grabbing a bag of ice from the store solved that easily. Also, the dishwasher had a small leak, so we ended up hand-washing dishes—something to be aware of, but definitely not a dealbreaker.Just a heads-up for beachgoers: during our stay, there was a buildup of sargassum (sea grass) on the Atlantic-side beaches. It can have a strong, unpleasant odor, especially on hot days. It’s a natural occurrence and varies throughout the year, but worth knowing before you plan a beach day.Overall, this townhome is a fantastic place to stay in the Keys—comfortable, well-located, and offering views you won’t forget.Places we suggest visiting- founders park(pool was amazing) baby’s coffee (so good), key west, Bahia honda (gulf side) seagrass not present there, sightseeing

The place was exactly as listed. We had activities planned in Key West and enjoyed the short drive to/from for less cost than booking in Key West. The sunset views were amazing. The stairs that lead to to the bedrooms and main bath are quite steep so if you have a person with mobility issues these could be an issue.

Just got back from my birthday trip and we were very happy with our stay. The house is quaint, and the neighborhood is quiet. The views in the morning and at sunset are wild, best unexpected part of our stay. Coffee and breakfast on the back porch was also great. Water pressure was low, but that’s to be expected in the keys. Clean and comfortable beds and bathrooms. We would stay here again.

The location and place itself was perfect. But when we arrived we found that none of the soaps were restocked. We were left literally 0 trash bags, not even in the cans, and literally 1/2 of one roll of toilet paper for 5 people for 3 days. I reached out to management right away and while they were responsive and apologetic, nothing was done about this till the last afternoon before we left. REALLY disappointing we had to buy our own supplies when you spend over $1000 on a stay. On top of that this unit is a 1.5 bath NOT a 2.5. Really sad to find that all 5 of us had to share 1 shower for 3 days... Im sure the add is an oversight but needs to get changed. *So far NOTHING has been done to make up for the oversights by management*

The accommodations were exactly as described, the property was tastefully decorated & quite clean! Duck Key turned out to be a perfect location for our stay - central to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed coffee on both of the decks (a couple extra chairs on the upper, master deck would be nice), and it was a treat to watch all the iguanas come out of the trees mid-morning. The view is very pretty, and it was a peaceful stay. Our only complaint was the instructions from the management company prior to our arrival indicated printed paperwork for our stay was required to pass the security kiosk. I asked for clarity on this several days before we would be without a printer as we were staying in Miami first, and they did not respond. When they did, they did not answer my questions fully. Turned out there was no security booth for check-in of the specific unit, only to enter the resort area, but it would have been nice to have clarity on that ahead of time. Otherwise, great stay!

This was my first time to book thru Airbnb. The condo was perfect for the 4 of us. We love to cook. The kitchen was small, however it had all we needed. The beds were comfortable. Everything worked as it should. We loved the sunsets! The only thing missing was availability to a pool.

This was a perfect property to stay at with a great location being centralized on duck key. Only a quick walk to the resort but only paying a fraction of what others pay for the resort. Our friends booked a villa through the resort and we payed 1/3rd of the price for the same exact stay. This is the biggest no brainer for affordable living conditions in duck key. I will be using this same exact villa for any future endeavors.

The location on Duck Key was perfect for our plans, smack in the middle of Islamorada and Marathon. The sunsets added a perfect ending to every evening. Checkin was a breeze with the code being provided via email. We didn’t have to worry about meetIng anyone to get a key and check out was just as simple. The unit itself was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and functional. We planned on doing most of our eating and cooking from home, so the kitchen was well used. We had plenty of room for 3 adults and the washer and dryer came in handy. Although we gave it a 5 star rating, we do have a few suggestions: a pitcher (we used the coffee carafe for tea, which we had to empty every morning for coffee), a location to recycle , a broom w/ dust pan, a dish rag or sponge (we bought one), and better toilet paper (luckily, we brought some from home). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we are already planning our trip for next year! Thank you!

The views from the downstairs outdoor patio are great and even better from the upstairs patio attached to the master bedroom. Very relaxing and close to Marathon. It seemed that the outdoor lights were either out, or not working, which was disappointing because the deck at the rear of the property would have been an excellent place to eat dinner.

Duck Key is a great location close enough to the great restaurants in Islamorada & Marathon. It was a bit of a disappointment not having direct access to Hawks Cay pools, but we knew that going in. The accomodations were as described. Everything worked great. I love the electronic entry system, no keys to keep up with!! I came home and installed them on our home! Hawks Cay is still pretty beat up from the pounding of the hurricanes. Hopefully they will be back to previous conditions soon!

We were only able to stay for two nights but the townhouse was perfect. We got in with no issues and Ms. Steele left us water and some snacks on the counter. The unit was well-cleaned and the A/C was set just right. My wife immediately fell asleep on the downstairs porch and I enjoyed the amazing view and fished until we went to dinner. The iguanas on the property were fun to watch during our stay. The Villas were not too crowded and the sunrises and sunsets are out of this world. We would definitely recommend the unit and we will be coming back soon!

Beautiful!! We loved every second of our stay in the villa. The homeowners were super attentive and even sent a message saying we could check in early on our arrival date if we were in the area and "just waiting around". Some helpful tips 1) there are plenty of pots and pans; stored under the bar in the living room 2) the extra towels/wash clothes are in the bed room in the closet beside the washer/dryer (took us a while to find those) 3) rent kayaks or paddle boards; the sunsets on the harbor are amazing and even more enjoyable on an evening paddle ride 4) you can't use the resort main pool or lagoon without renting through the resort itself, but people don't mind letting you in the gait to use the very nice sunset pool which is very close to the townhome. Really can't say enough good things about this awesome property. Highly recommend!!!

Perfect location - easy access to Key West as well as John Pennekamp (amazing snorkel tour), Duck Key is quiet, laid back, and the water views from this little villa are gorgeous. Beds are super comfortable, our 10 yr old loved catch and release fishing right from the property. The place is not new, not large, but fit our needs perfectly and for a reasonable price. We always enjoy our time on Duck Key. This is a fantastic place that is well cared for in the Hawks Caye resort area. The condo was quiet. Children and families chased iguanas around the back yard. Close (as in... walk out the front door) to lots of water activities and well situated in the keys so that you are not too far from anything. We would certainly rent this property again.
