This property was exactly what I was looking for: a location that gave me easy access to the ocean and the bay for fishing while in Marathon. Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. The dock was well protected from the weather and had water and power for my boat. The east facing balcony was nice for sunrise and there was a west facing balcony for sunset. The unit was clean and well stocked with utensils in the kitchen and paper goods so I didn’t have to run to the store on arrival. Price was reasonable. I would stay here again.

Spacious duplex with space for 27’ boat at the dock and trailer parking. This is a good location close to Vaca cut as well as restaurants. The access to the cabana club was a nice addition but we didn’t use it much since we were on the water most of the time.

The home was exactly as described and we had a wonderful stay. Five of us had plenty of room to spread out and relax. My kids really enjoyed the upstairs to themselves. We did a lot of fishing in the canal and saw several manatees! The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking tools. (Bring your own seasonings and paper products if you plan to cook). The neighbors were so nice and friendly also! Overall we would highly recommend!

We took the family to Captain’s Haven to celebrate our son’s high school graduation. Everything was amazing! Everything we needed for cooking seafood. Lots of pretty bowls and platters for a fun serving atmosphere. Very roomy!!! Very clean!! Not really a complaint, but water pressure in kitchen was a little low and finding the hot water was a little tricky with the kitchen faucet. Glass cleaner would have been nice so we could have cleaned the kitchen table. View was amazing and loved having dock so we could have our boat right out front. We loved it! Thanks for a great stay!!

Seven Keys Vacations staff

It is important to note that the shared pool is 1 mile from the home. The pool is crowded and has so many rules it is not worth using.
The neighbors were great. The home was great, but not close to the pool.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of pans, paper towel, dish towels, dishes, silverware and cutting boards. Manatees swim up and down the canal. The neighbors Albert and Bill are super nice and will help you with anything you need. Albert is a commercial fisherman and offers charters. The beds are super comfortable and clean. Air and heat work great. Plenty of parking for 1-3 cars. I would stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay. There was 7 of us and we all fit very comfortably. Every room was clean, plenty of bath, pool/beach towels. Enough toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, dish soap to last the entire week we were here. I text about one little issue and the repair man arrived the next day. Any questions I had they were answered quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

We fully enjoyed this Airbnb for our 2021 much-needed vacation. The rental house had space for everyone, and every bedroom had their own bathroom. Plenty of room for this family if 6, 4 adults & 2 children. Clean house, great porch on the canal, free access to Cabana club, and very peaceful, walkable-area. House had all the comforts of home, including mini office corner, toiletries, laundry, towels, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies.
This was an awesome vacation, in the charming town of Key Colony Beach in Marathon Key. Great location to walk, bicycle, skate board to nearby parks, playground, eateries, live music, coffee shops, an last but not least the Cabana Club. The icing on the cake! Wonderful club with beach access, pool, bar, cafe eats, & just a peaceful beach/pool day, with everything you need in a cozy-sized Cabana Club.
Our family had the best time relaxing & enjoying the food, sights, & life of the middle Keys. This location includes easy day trips to surrounding keys including Key West. ***Highly recommend Mangrove Kayak Tour with Daniel “Dangrove” of Caribbean Kayaking Tours, LLC.

My family and I have stayed here at the Captain’s Haven before so we’re return visitors. We love this place, but we did notice that cleaning staff must have changed. The house wasn’t nearly as clean as it was the last time we stayed in 2019. For example, hair was left on the bathroom floors, a mess of hair (like it was pulled from a hairbrush) was left in the toilet, the towels were left in the dryer, and the overall cleanliness of the house was less than expected (dirty doors around the door knobs, dusty decor, etc.). Aside from those things, the house, property, and dock are great! We’ll be returning again, but I hope the house is a cleaner next time. Thanks!!

Wonderful home in Key Colony. Home was on a canal and convenient for your boat. 30 amp shore power is available. Vacasa kept you updated. The router password was incorrect on their house info email. The password ended up being in all lower case and not as Vacasa provided. Vacasa never responded to my email regarding this issue.

Easily the best rental in key colony beach. Great waterfront access. The cabana club is terrific for a dip in the pool or as a beach spot. Plenty of room for all of us. We will be back

This is a beautiful, spacious home. It is perfectly located close to everything. We loved fishing off the dock and the kids enjoyed paddle boarding through the canals. The home was very clean. An added bonus was the wonderfully sweet neighbors who made us feel right at home. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Exactly what we were looking for. Canal front Great 3/3 unit, neighbors were great. Parked boat out front, so we just woke up, got some coffee, jumped on boat and were fishing soon there after! Comfortably slept 7 adults. Did not have information on access/directions to cabana club or pool, but we never really needed it.

Perfect home for our large family. 6 adults and 2 small kids. Everyone had their own space. The house was fully equipped and the neighbors are the best anyone could ever hope for. They gave us some prime fishing spots. We loved having the boat right there and being able to go from the included cabana club pool to heading out on the boat for sunset. The location of key beach colony is wonderful. We did all of the tourist stuff that was so close by the house. You can not go wrong with this place. We loved every minute.

We had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend this house. We had stayed at four other houses in Key Colony beach in recent years, and this was by far the nicest. The owners happened to be there at the start of our stay at were friendly and generous with us. We also enjoyed use of the cabana club, the fishing, restaurants, the bocce ball court, and many other amenities in and around Key Colony beach.
