We thought the rental was great. Loved the laundry room too. We used the screenroom a lot to just hang out and enjoy the view. Kitchen well stocked for any cooking. Never used the grill since we ate out a lot. Loved it was a house and not a duplex. Very quiet area which we loved. We plan to rent again when we come back.

We have rented this house 6 times and plan to be back, but reported a broken microwave on our first day of a week's stay and no communication and not fixed which was disappointing - not acceptable but must say our only negative experience thus far with vacasa over years but expect more.

Downhome Cabin was perfect for us. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It had a bright and cheerful interior The kitchen was very well equipped with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. The yard was neat and clean and the docking spot was very well done. We have stayed at several places in the Keys and this was the best. Vacasa did a good job of simplifying check in.

House was fantastic, management company was very difficult. Rent here is you prefer speaking to an out of area call center who cannot help you. Next time I will choose a home with a local management company.

Excellent location. The home was better than described only needs a little TLC on the exterior. Very roomy and comfortable. Home fully equipped on all levels. It’d be nice if it had a small pool especially after coming in from fishing to relax. Will definitely rent again. Must say though the boat ramp at Key Colony can use improvement not clean nor well maintained. Our family getaway was awesome with lots of fishing.

We had a group of 4 and everyone had space. The bedrooms are nice and big. Also the sitting area was comfortable. We had a tub valve that needed repair, and the service agent was very easy to work with and they had the plumber there the next day.

The home was great! It would’ve been great to have a hammock & an ice machine. It had all of the stuff we needed for cooking, you just have to look around for it. The kitchen is always warm and the laundry room is always hot!
We couldn’t get the tv’s to work other than 1 or 2 channels but it was no biggie. We spent most of our time on the boat we rented.
We did have an issue with the master shower not working one morning and they responded very quickly.
We will rent this house again in the future! We had a great trip.

Good location, within a few miles of beautiful beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. If you like to spend time on the beach I recommend that you bring beach chairs if you can. I asked before arriving if beach chairs were available, I was told we could use the cabana club membership. Although it was nice we didn’t care to go to that very small beach esp since you can’t even take a water bottle in with you, with that being said it would be nice if the rental had beach chairs for tenants. Master bedroom was very spacious and had a king bed. Maybe time to replace the mattress tho. Guest room was also spacious and beds were much more comfortable. Very nice outdoor space could use some type of cover over the patio to provide some shade. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Location is absolutely perfect! We park rented boat at the back of the house and with easy access to bay and ocean it couldn't be better. Communication with Vacasa and their responsiveness was also great. Coffee machine was broken when we arrived. It took them very short time do deliver brand new and replace broken one.
The only cons is condition of some walls of the house - plaster inside the house was broken in kitchen wall and in bedroom. Little bit of TLC needed. But I would still rent it again and recommend because of location and privacy!

We stayed here for a week and had a great time. The house was clean and very comfortable. The layout was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is in a great location and within walking distance of the Cabana Club. We rented kayaks for the day from Key Kayak. Great experience there too!! I highly recommend it.

The property was great and exactly as advertised. Plenty of room for a party of 6. We had 5 and were supremely comfortable in the evenings reading and playing games. I know it sounds weird, but the light switching was somewhat goofy regarding what a switch turns on and what it doesn't, but once you got it down it wasn't anything to complain about. The A/C worked well to keep the hose at 73 degrees on a week which the weather hovered around 88 degrees out. The kitchen gets hot. Its further away from the vents and the A/C just doesn't cool it as well. We just ran a box fan when cooking to keep cool. It was tolerable without the fan, better with. Laundry room is not climate controlled, but we were only in there short periods of time at night so it was a non-issue.
Tons of storage in entry area and laundry room. Bedroom Closets were nice and big. Plenty of extra blankets and be linens in the closet and we still had lots of room for clothes, shoes, and bags. But you wont need much as the laundry machines worked great. There's a clothesline and drying rack for sun-drying if you prefer.
Out back was nice. Simple with not much accommodation, but nice enough. The dock was long and in good shape. We rented a 22 foot center console boat and tying off was easy enough. 2+ Feet of tidal change so tying was important. No issues using the canal or dock. Great to fish from and the cleaning table made coming home after fishing easy. Hose connection at dock and on back of house provide plenty of fresh water for cleaning off scuba/snorkel/fishing/boat. Great lighting out on the dock as well for evening breezes.
Cabana Club was great. They don't allow any outside food or drink at all (including water). They provide free water, but snacking on the beach isn't happening on your grocery tab. We spent half the week at various other beaches for adventure and for that fact as well. Lots to see and do. But the club was clean, service was great, bar was attentive, beach well kept with chairs for free. You were welcome to bring your own chairs as well. Lots of rules though with the pool aimed at making it peaceful like no floats, no jumping in. It was peaceful, but kids would get bored after a couple of hours. We'd just go back out to the beach and they can play and jump around there.
The house binder had all relevant info and the neighborhood was very safe and clean. Would highly recommend this property and location.

Great little find for our family of 4! Super clean and with a perfectly equipped kitchen and the today decorated. The canal provided us with a view of all sorts of sea life including manatee, lobster, pelicans, heron, and even a HUGE tarpon that my husband almost landed! The location is very convenient for Marathon. We didn’t bring or rent a boat- but we should have. It would be a great place to dock your boat. Can’t say much about the Key Colony Club as we didn’t spend much time there - we were too busy kayaking and exploring - but it looked like a great option for people with younger kids. Overall, it’s a perfect place for a family of 4!!!

This house was great! Plenty of room, renovated baths and kitchen, great laundry rm with bait freezer, all tile floors. It was very clean, lots of storage, and well stocked. Dock was in great condition and included a ladder and fish cleaning table. 2nd bedroom could use new mattresses and management was passing that suggestion onto the home owners. Great communication. Location is perfect.

My wife and I and three teenage children just finished our vacation here. The house was better than we expected. Upon entering we noticed how clean and spacious it was. It is a very open concept where you can see right through from the front entry to the canal in the back yard. My son and I were catching fish in the canal from the private dock in the mornings and evenings. There were 2 days that a group of 3 manatee visited us and swam right up to mt children sitting on the dock. They hung around for about an hour and left. The kitchen had everything we needed with very nice appliances. The clothes washer and dryer worked perfectly. The Cabana Club was only 4 houses away and we walked there daily and enjoyed the private large pool and beach very much. Some local resturants were in walking distance also and many resturants within minutes of driving. Overall the house worked out perfectly for us and hopefully we can return again another time. Thank you for making this house available to us so we could all celebrate my wifes 50th bday. We had a great time.

Perfect location, close to everything. Loved the farmers market on Tuesdays. The house was spacious with plenty of storage. The back patio could use some work, but it was still nice to sit by the water. Recommend.

We loved KCB!!! We found this house to have a well equipped kitchen, plenty of linens, new appliances, nice dock, good location, beautiful artwork and clean. Check in was easy, plenty of parking and a quiet neighborhood. We would stay there again!

Check in was painless. Cottage located with-in walking distance to Cabana Club. Cottage was clean and neat. Kitchen had plenty of utensils. If there was anything negative it was the TV in queen bedroom had a picture issue but that was minor to us.. All in all it was a wonderful week and I would consider coming back.

Great canal front home in the fantastic neighborhood of Key Colony Beach. House was clean and full of essential kitchen items. New appliances including washer and dryer. Perfect place for a fishing trip with dock, fish cleaning station and bait freezer in the laundry room.

Awesome house right on the canal. Right across the street is the Canana club which you get access to. It’s a fantastic pool and beach. The house is perfectly located and has everything you need. We caught a mangrove snapper and grunt right in the back yard. We saw manatee ballyhoo and lots of pinfish. We chartered boats from Reef Adventures and The Main Attraction which we’re both amazing charters. Caught about 17 different species of fish. The keys are making a wonderful recovery with the help of residents and visitors and it’s really great to see!

My family had a nice trip. The neighbors were friendly, the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The neighborhood was perfect for family bike rides to the beach and to restaurants. And we loved kayaking from our own dock. Perfect vacation.

This two bdrm, 2 ba single family home was clean, fully equipped, and a wonderful vacation home. Backing to a canal, you can bring your boat, and also right across the street from the ocean. Private beach club also has pool on the ocean, restaurant, and bar. The owner's and Vacasa are pet friendly. I brought both my dogs and we had a blast. There is a dog beach and dog park both within a couple of miles, as well as all the restaurants and nightlife of Marathon. A wonderful place to enjoy your vacation.

The location of this house, access to Cabana Club and a private dock made this a perfect vacation. There were 3 adults and 2 small dogs and the size of the house was perfect. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely be back.
