This was our second year staying here. The house is very well stocked with everything you’d need. It is well maintained and very clean. We enjoyed having access to the Cabana Club We would highly recommend it

The long driveway allows us to park our boat trailer underneath the house .This is by far one of the best ones we have stayed at in Key Colony !!

Check in was extremely easy and home was as advertised. Very clean, great location, well stocked, and very spacious. Overall, another great experience in paradise!One recommendation would be beach chairs and a couple fishing poles.

We stayed here for three weeks. We were very pleased with the house and amenities. It was very well stocked. It was freshly painted and new outdoor furniture on the upper porch. It would’ve been nice to have lounge chairs on the lower patio. But that wasn’t a a big dealIt is in a great location. We went to the Cabana Club several times

Key Colony is always a great spot and this house did not disappoint! Enough room for 5 without being crowded. Great dock site and convenient toboth local public boat ramps.

We were here for spring break in a group of 7 total. 4 adults and 3 kids. First, i would like to say that the pictures do not do justice to this place. The house is not brand new, but really cozy and plenty of space. The kitchen is great and extremely well equipped, one of the better ones we had in years of renting vacation homes. The dining area and seating area are great for families and groups. The balcony overlooking the canal is really nice for morning coffee. The master bath is huge with two showers and two sinks, very clean as well. You can park your car under the house and keep it close by. The gas grille worked great and there were two propane tanks. The location itself is really good, KCB is a really popular location for locals and tourists, but also really quiet and away from traffic. There are plenty of places for morning walks (very popular around here, lots of walking traffic in the morning). The neighborhood is beautiful and everyone if very friendly. It is really easy in and out and not far at all from major things like grocery store, only about 4 miles to two major ones. Let me explain clearly how the sleeping arrangements are: there are two bedrooms, and both have queen size beds. There is a queen-size pull-out couch in the living room and a futon on the mezzanine. So, 7 is the maximum they can accommodate UNLESS you have very small children, BUT keep in mind that the futon is located upstairs on the mezzanine with steep stairs to go up and down.Beds squeek

Our stay for the six weeks period was a wonderful break from upstate New York winter weather. The home was immaculate when we arrived. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with every thing you could need to put a meal on the table. The bedroom linens, though, could use some help. With two bedrooms and a pullout couch there should be more than just two sets of sheets. Had to purchase a set for the couch so it could be used. And perhaps a cozy throw or two might help when the a.c. kicks on. What we really found lacking was some folding chairs to take to the beaches when we went. They also would be handy when Key Colony offered their concerts on Sundays. I am not talking about the ones that are very close to the ground. We are not as bendy as we used to be. Other than these suggestions we loved the house and already have reserved it for next winter. Time went very quickly and we are making plans for some new adventures next year.

We have stayed in Key Colony several times for our Anniversary. This house was very clean , well stocked and I loved the balcony views . There wasn’t any TVs in the bedrooms but definitely not a big deal . This was by far one of the nicer homes . We brought our boat and fished everyday and went to the Sandbar after . If you like BBQ , Porkys had the best . Highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway

This house was very nicely upgraded and provided all the things that were needed for an extended stay. The location was within walking distance to the Cabana Club, although having a bike for the commute was worthwhile. The only thing unclear in the property advertisement was the sleeping arrangements for the 6 people. The loft had a futon large enough from 1 person and there was a pull-out couch in the living room.

We walked up a long flight of stairs, which we both have a bit of difficulty with, and opened the door to a beautiful home. The openess of the place was great, with the LR, Dining area and the kitchen all in the same vicinity, with loads of views of the canal out back thru a couple of sliding glass doors. This was truly the most incredibly stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental, including a fully stocked spice drawer and multiple pots, pans, baking dishes, knife sets, etc. I didn’t plan to cook often, but when I did cook or when I reheated leftovers every sort of cooking utensil or cookware was there. Also, there were ceiling fans in both the LR and the DR. The furniture was comfortable for watching TV or reading, but at night the light was not good for reading at all. We wished that the ceiling fan also had a light. Both bedrooms had ceiling fans and lights and the queen sized beds were quite comfortable. The master bathroom had two showers, one in a standard tub and a separate small corner walk-in. The hall bathroom had a tub/shower combo. The whole house was spotlessly clean. A great place to stay but for the stairs, which were not good for seniors with bad knees.

Great place to stay. If you have a boat, definitely bring as there is very easy access to open water. Unit was well appointed with everything you need. My wife and I both work remote, so this was a great place to work as there is a desk in the master bedroom, and the kitchen table worked well to set up another workspace. Bring your paddle boards and/or kayaks as we saw many manitees!

The house and property was incredible. KCB is really in the perfect location if you plan on boating and fishing, super quiet and peaceful. the kitchen was extremely well stocked, more utensils and cookware than you could ever need. The cabana club is a great amenity and we loved going there in our downtime. I will probably look to rent this property for next year's trip as well!

Wonderful being on the canal for getting out on paddleboards or boat. This location has a nice deck that overlooks the emerald waters of the canal while cool breezes keep it a nice temperature. The master bath could use an update but the place was clean and cool.

This was the most well equipped facility that we've used and we've used many! The unit was pretty clean and comfortable. The only issues we had were the bed in the master sagged in the middle because the support beam was not attached and the heat went out the last couple days (when it was actually needed) and was not able to be fixed before we left.

This home is a perfect spot for a keys vacation. Home is beautifully decorated, clean, quiet, and comfortable. They have everything you need for cooking. Being on the canal gives you great access to the water. Animals galore from birds, fish, manatees, sharks, you name it we saw it right from the dock. We stayed the first week of January 2022.

The property was in good condition though the furniture seemed a bit dated. Standup shower had very low water pressure. But we were able to use the shower in the tub. Concrete patio upstairs needed attention -- cracking and pieces missing. Upon arrival most of the neighbors were friendly with the exception of a household directly across the canal. They seemed more interested in displaying their political leanings versus enjoying the moment. However, we enjoyed the stay. We contacted management for additional towels and they responded promptly. Our intention was to relax and also do some bridge fishing. This location was great for that. Next time we will bring a boat as the canals offer great access to offshore fishing if the weather permits. We would definitely go back again.

House was clean, comfortable beds - everything you need in kitchen. Brought our boat - very easy to put in at ramp very close to the house and the dock is in great condition. Five minutes to local dive shop if need tanks , 10 minutes from Publix. Drive way is a little tricky putting trailer in but got it in with no big troubles. Fit two cars in behind it; plenty of room. Everything you need and highly recommend! We will be back!

Skip the key colony club if you’re looking for beach time and go to sombrero beach instead.
The gas grill was a great addition to lodging allowing us to cook fresh seafood every day. To source fresh catch go to king’s seafood on us1 by publix or captains 3 fisheries on coco plum rd. Also, If you’re heading to big pine stop at big pine village for incredible selection of seafood and fresh veggies around. Jumbo pink shrimp are the best boiled up in some old bay.
Last but not least - Be sure to check out local Dark rum called Pilar. 5 stars! Publix’s has it in stock.
We were disappointed in the atmosphere and food quality at the key colony inn.

We had the BEST time and can’t wait to book this house again. The house was super clean and in a nice neighborhood. The house came with passes to the cabana club which was a huge hit. It’s in a great central location. The house was exactly what we were looking for and more! I highly recommend.

You won't be disappointed! Great location. 10 min walk to the beach. 15 min to the Cabana pool and great restaurants to explore around Marathon.
Vaca was responsive through checkin and let us enjoy our stay. They had the DW replaced during our stay and were respectful of our time. Worked out perfectly.
Loved breakfast and lunches overlooking the channel! couldn't have asked for more.

We had a great time in a great location. We enjoyed the house and also the wall of patio doors looking over the canal. Not to mention the sunsets at the park where 50 people come every night to watch the sunsets while playing the “1812 Overture”. Then everyone swaying to the song of “Islands of Marathon”. What a hoot.

The house being right on the water and being located in the middle Keys was excellent for our vacation and a great quiet neighborhood. The few times we reached out with questions during our stay, we received responses right away. When we arrived, the filter in the dishwasher wasn’t working and the standing water in the bottom of it from before we arrived smelled awful but a tech was sent out the next morning and fixed it quickly. I would like to note we only found one really odd-shaped Tupperware container in the whole house for the leftovers we cooked, and the kitchen had no salt (though there were 4 empty salt and pepper shakers), no Saran Wrap or tinfoil, no ziplock bags, no ice packs or a cooler (not expected, but would’ve been greatly appreciated for bringing to the beach), no grill-cleaning brush, and the iron was pretty rusted. We also only found one beach towel and when we requested all of the above items, we were told they only provide beach towels for homes with pools but they still dropped a few off for us and told us to buy the other items if we wanted them. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay and was fabulous seeing the Christmas light boat parade come down the canal one night during our stay.

Loved the fact that our boat was just outside the door. The parking for the boat as a temporary to get ready in the driveway was difficult but we managed with a couple nice neighbours. The condo was filled with all the essentials needed for our stay. It is a very quiet and friendly area. We would certainly do it all again.

What a great place to stay. Right on the canal and close to everything you might need and having access to the Cabana Club is fantastic. Within walking distance to a great pool and your own private beach but sitting out back next to the canal wasn't terrible either. Would recommend to anyone wanting to take a relaxing break in the Keys.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the entire area. Convenient to both the upper and lower keys with many things to do on this key. The kitchen is well supplied for anything you want to cook. Great grill and back outside area with a large table for eating your grilled fish. We saw manatees in the canal behind the house! Fun place.

we were supposed to stay at a house a few doors down but it had plumbing issues at the last minute. Vacasa provided 2 alternatives and the one we chose was our original choice but changed to avoid stairs. glad we had the option to rent this house after all!!...truly amazing how well the kitchen is stocked with everything you could imagine and more. Very clean and comfortable. would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time staying in a house instead of a hotel and I can honestly say we will not stay in a hotel again. Anything we could have needed was there and we had a great boat dock for our boat. The outdoor dining was a bonus. There were 6 of us and we were not crowded at all. We will definitely be coming back to this house!!!!
