KC81 - Key Colony Beach Waterfront Villa

We had a great stay here! I had a few questions and messaged the host and they replied quickly. It was clean when we arrived. The location was convenient to restaurants and Sunset Beach. The back patio had new composite Adirondack chairs and 2 lounge chairs. The screened in porch was nice. It had a new six chair dining table of composite wood. Nice cushions too. The TV in the living room was a Roku tv and easy to use with the remote. The kitchen was stocked with enough plates and pans to do some cooking. It had a regular coffee maker that worked well. There were lots of seasonings, salt, pepper and oil to use for cooking. There were 3 bikes to use which was nice. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of comfy pillows. The A/C worked well. There was a unit in the living room and each bedroom. The bathrooms were old. They did have new vanities and sinks but they still had the old tiling. Having said that they were very nice and were clean and well stocked with towels. The rest of the house has been renovated. Pros- good location, split bedrooms each with their own bathroom, bikes, nice outdoor furniture, on the canal, washer and dryer, nice open space, easy check in. Cons- we did not have access to the Cabana Club. The owners don’t have a membership there. This wasn’t a big deal, January weather can be cold and windy and when it was nice the pool at the Club is very busy so it would be hard to get a chair. Overall this was a great place to stay!!

Great location. Nice dock right out back on the channel that leads out to either the Gulf or Atlantic. Plenty of parking space for our trucks and trailer. Well equipped for the stay.

Nice duplex with split air conditioners. Lovely place and quite comfortable. NEEDs new outdoor furniture and more tender loving care but all in all a good stay. We were quite comfortable in this 2 bedroom duplex. Love that the washer and dryer are in the garage. Nice area and love having the option of being able to go to the CABANA CLUB. A great place to stay....Dog friendly too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was beautiful and very comfortable. We were close to many restaurants and the Cabana Club was a great bonus! The dock is in great working order and we had no issues with anything on the property. Will definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our stay. Beds were great. Awesome neighborhood with lots to do. Loved having the bikes. To make it even better they could add some beach accessories. Chairs, umbrella. I’d recommend packing snorkels for this area.

This cute little bungalow gave us a great, cozy place to explore the Key Colony Beach area. Clean property, nice touches, and just the right amount of stuff to make us comfortable but not overwhelmed (small kids, few things to knock over). We had a wonderful time, and we happily stay there again.

We really enjoyed our week in Key Colony. This community is very friendly and you will never run out of things to do. There are so many activities nearby and Key West is less than 1 hour away. The property was great, good kitchen, living room and bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The only disappointing thing in this home is that there was no basic seasonings to cook with, not even salt, pepper or cooking oils. We have rented down there in other areas and basic seasonings and cooking oil were always included. Thank you for having us.

We had a lovely stay at this house! Beds were comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. Quiet neighborhood with lots to do including biking and kayaking down the canal to go around the point and watch the sunset (watch the tides and wind when you do this). It’s just a short walk from a little park where you can watch the sunset. And just a fun and relaxing vibe. The house has everything you need for a low maintenance, relaxing vacation. Loved the nearby Curry Hammock State Park. Highly recommend.

I have visited marathon for the last 15 years and this home was my favorite place to stay! The two large bathrooms and private baths were perfect for privacy between guests, the kitchen and living room were large and filled with light and the backyard was incredible. The sitting area is right on the lagoon, and the perfect spot for your morning coffee or yoga. The screened in porch was our favorite spot to cap out the evening - and never had one bug bite! Key colony is a beauitful community, where you can ride the bikes and explore (provided at the house!) or to explore some marathon cuisine and activities it’s a quick Uber ride downtown! I highly recommend.

This family gem at Colony Key was a perfect and relaxing beach get-away! Perfect get-away for me, the hubby, and kids. It felt like home with a clean and comfortable beach style home. The rooms are spacious, kitchen cute and equipped, AC nice and cold, great parking entrance and with a spacious garage. Everything was clean and bathrooms just right. We slept good and relaxed in the backyard. You get access to Cabana Club which is literally 2 min in car and you have a very clean pool and private beach access with very affordable yummy food and drinks. This place is very family friendly, like living in a private community and you ride the bike or go on walks at night. We went every night to Sunset Park with beautiful views and sunsets. Great spot for pictures. Thank you for the great memories. You will not regret staying here. Everything nearby from groceries to restaurants. You have a kids playground and small gold course too!
