Awesome house for a Key West visit! The private pool is great and relaxing. House being a block off Duval is convenient for activities and walking. Would be a first choice if we come back!

The location is incredible, right in downtown and shopping areas.
Every morning i was greeted by 3 lovely roosters! I fed them daily in the front yard with some lettuce and cooked rice, almost like they were expecting it. The whole experience was a nice touch to an already lovely home

Excellent location! The pool was nice and warm and cleaned daily - kitchen is nicely updated. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use some updates but all worked fine! The bedroom walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear the noise in other rooms but not a deal breaker!

The backyard/pool is absolutely stunning and makes the house a great value. The location is perfect, a block off Duval and walking distance to everything. Parking spot was convenient. The music from the nearby club was audible inside but not bothersome with the AC units running. The washer, dryer and fridge were all new. The bedrooms are a little quirky, separated by a wall that does not extend to the ceiling so sound and light pass between them. Primary bedroom large but second bedroom barely larger than the bed.

For just the two of us it was great!
There are 2 bedrooms separated by a 3/4 height wall that share one set of overhead lights. I only mention this because the two bedrooms won’t give what some people expect in terms of privacy.
The location is outstanding.
We could walk to almost everything!
We drove, so the parking space was great to have.
The pool is awesome and someone came by every morning (accessed through the back yard) to clean it.

Location, Location! We love this less busy end of Duval street and this home was a block to our favorite spots especially Ramshead, Blue Heaven, & MoonDogs. The other big win is the back porch and tropical back yard with a private swimming pool. Some other reviewers were annoyed by the loud music from the bar a few yards away but it wasn't overly loud and we loved hearing the music in the yard. It wasn't so loud that we noticed it inside the house. Lastly, free parking spots in Key West? Big win! Now, no negatives for us but the decor is very basic and the kitchen stocked w/ the basics. Also the walls between the 2 bedrooms dont go all the way to the ceiling so if you care about complete privacy, that could be an issue for you. Overall the location, outdoor space and easy parking far outweighed any negatives.

We were fortunate to rent this lovely quaint home steps behind the outside Bourbon Street Pub pool area. We were attending a few days of early Fantasy Fest October 19-22, 2025, and had a wonderful experience. Though we didn't rent a car, the mostly gravel space in front of the home could have easily parked at least 3 cars, with parking at a premium in this area. And we really liked having a private pool so central to Fantasy Fest!

Great place, great location. Only issue was confusion regarding the house. The house across the street appears as the front, in their photos, the front of the house is actually the last picture of the home pictures. Their first picture is actually of the backside of the house and is very similar to the front of the house across the street. Caused some concerns until we were able to get in to see the house. Their first picture pictures did match, just caused some confusion.

Excellent location! It was convenient to have free parking spot on site. The place has all necessary facilities as listed. It has two private bedrooms; however, the ceiling is open. Independent check in and out is a big plus.

Amazing location. The home is very comfortable and has everything you need to start your vacation. The pool/property guys were friendly and welcoming when they stopped by to clean the pool/area. The woman who works at the Vacasa office was very helpful when we dropped our luggage prior to check in.

Loved our stay, beautiful private pool area. Quiet street but 1 block away from the bars, restaurants, cafes, scooter/ golf cart rentals. We could hear the music from the club next store but it was relatively quiet & could not hear it at all while inside. Pull out bed in living room was not comfortable, could feel the bars under mattress. Would stay again with 4 or less people.
A couple things I would suggest to improve the stay;
More pool towels (only had 2 for 6 guests)
Extra blanket or 2
Cutting board
Curtains for front door & patio door to keep sun out early in the morning
Lights on the umbrella by pool couldn’t see for late evening hangouts
Provide coffee filters and extra trash bags (2 coffee packs provided but no filters, trash cans are small and no extra bags provided)
Overall great stay! Can’t wait to comeback!

Location, Location, Location! Perfect place to base yourself to get anywhere in Old Key West. It was so nice to have a parking space. Pictures represent there space very well. The pool was so refreshing after walking a lot and it being so hot. Really couldn’t hear the noise from neighboring bar inside the house. Did hear while in the pool but it was nice.

The house was just as advertised. I found the reviews that said the music from the bar close by could be clearly heard outside, but not inside to be true. None of our group found it annoying at all.
The house was well equipped and clean. The only items that need some sprucing up were the two pieces of upholstered furniture. The manager said that the pieces were less than a year old. I would suggest a throw or cover that could be laundered.
Everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance.
The pool really added to the experience as we were there during 87 degree, humid weather. The pool and patio are were kept clean and were tended to each day.
Perfect spot for four people to stay in while in the Keys!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this Airbnb in Key West, and it exceeded all my expectations! The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore all that Key West has to offer. Whether it was restaurants, shops, or attractions, everything was just a short walk away.
The pool was a fantastic bonus, providing a refreshing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The surrounding area was lush and well-maintained, creating a peaceful oasis in the midst of the vibrant city. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay—convenient, comfortable, and truly in the center of all the action. Highly recommended!

Great location: walkable (and within a very short walk) to all main tourist places, Duval St, museums, restaurants, shopping etc. The back yard is GORGEOUS! I enjoyed drinking my coffee first thing in the morning out on that covered back porch, watching those tropical plants and palm trees! AC works good, a little cute restaurant right next door, which is open for dinners only, and it was very convenient. Everything was nice and clean, kitchen is upgraded now with new cabinets and granite. yes, you can hear music outside during the day and evening from a bar/restaurant on Duval Street, but it's not really that loud, it's actually nice to hear while in the pool, and you cannot hear it inside the house at all. I loved the location and the fact that there is your own parking place behind the gate, which is so rare in Key West!

we had a wonderful time. the location was EVERYTHING!!!! It was a 5 min walk from the heart of Duval, a 5 min drive from the beach. Although we were informed about the club directly behind the house, you could barely hear it in the house and it was perfect while in the pool, no speaker needed. For a vacation with 4 teens it was an absolute perfect locale. The pool was clean and it was heated which was great at night. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and book again

The home was clean and comfortable. The photos were spot on accurate. The house was comfortable with the A/C, the pool cleaned daily, and the pet rooster and chicken in the back yard. Perfect location for walking to the Hemingway home, food, music, and other attractions. The music nearby was enjoyable while poolside, but we heard nothing indoors. Though we did not rent a car (really, no car needed), there seemed ample space for parking inside the gate. I am 73 and had not problem walking to Duval Street, the Southern-most point, or to Sloppy Joe's. But the Trolly Tours was very good as a hop on, hop off, on the warmer days. Having the washer/dryer saves bringing extra clothes. Fifteen to twenty minutes from the airport via Lyft or Uber. We would not hesitate to rent this cottage again.

Great location! Walkable to anything on and around Duval Street. The off-street parking was a big added bonus. Pool was cleaned and checked on daily…though keep your eyes on the trees around the pool for iguanas! Two places we couldn’t recommend more are the Key West Cuban Coffee Shop for breakfast and Frita’s for lunch, both walkable from the house. Vacasa couldn’t have made things easier and we would recommend them to anyone.

The location was perfect. The beds were comfortable. The house was well stocked with a huge back yard. The A/C units kept the outside noise out. The pool was warm but the bottom was rough on your feet. We had 6 people and it was pretty tight but we really only slept there.

We came to celebrate our 40th anniversary and wanted to be close to Duvall. The pool was awesome. Pool guys came by everyday to sweep the pool deck and check the water. The music from the bar behind was good to listen to at night while in the pool. We really couldn't hear it in the house. But if you're looking for privacy from your group, this would not work. We could hear every sound from the other bedroom as the wall does NOT go all the way up. But we definitely would stay here again if got the chance.

location, location, location!!! such a great location and felt very private! it was walkable for all things key west! pool was great! felt very safe!
it is a block off of duval and does back up to the bars, so there is some music and noise, but inside its not that noticeable. just make sure the air is on and it blocks out the noise.
someone does come to clean the pool daily, which is nice, just didn't know it and it startled us the first day.
totally will stay here again!!!!

We were very happy with our stay while in Key West. The house is in a great location with a nice pool and backyard. Saturday night the next-door neighbor bar had quite the party music blasting which we enjoyed while sitting on our back porch drinking a glass of wine at the end of a long drive.

This was a great find! You can’t beat the location. We could walk everywhere in Key West which was so nice! As other people have mentioned, you’re right by a bar which plays loud music. However, when indoors you aren’t able to hear it and I rather enjoyed it at the pool! The house itself is clean and felt safe. Plus off street parking was great!

This house is a great place to land while experiencing all that key west has to offer. We had one night where the music was very loud until maybe 12:30-1am, but the other nights it was perfectly quiet even one block from Duval. The pool is lovely and the house is well equipped. The occasional iguanas that visit the yard are a delight to watch from the patio or pool!!!

This is a gem of a home, beautiful pool and home just steps from Duval St. where all the action happens.

The place was perfect for our group of four women friends. The location is RIGHT downtown and you can walk to almost anything. The pool and back patio are so nice and bigger than expected. The only issue we faced was problems with the front door lock which required some techs to come out. It was frustrating but they were very responsive.
Also worth mentioning (as some other guests did)- the rooms are only separated by a partial wall which might makes this less ideal for couples. Great for friend groups and/or families though!

Fabulous cottage with pool right in the middle of town. My kids loved it. While there were 2 bedrooms plenty big and well furnished, the bedrooms weren’t separated by a wall all the way to the ceiling - ok for a family but may not suit 2 couples. We would recommend this place to our friends and family.

We enjoyed this rental very much. EVERYTHING was within walking distance. Food, grocery, entertainment, Duvall St. The pool was much bigger than expected and an oasis. There was music from a local place but you couldn’t hear it inside.

Wonderful secluded space in the heart of it all in downtown Key West. The private pool is an amazing perk and we spent ample time lounging in it. Just steps to all the excitement - bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as the Hemingway House.
The bedroom space is intimate and is separated by a wall that doesn't
go all the way to the roof. It may be awkward for groups where the couples don't know each other well. This wasn't the case for us.

The location was perfect! We were able to park (an absolute bonus to be able to park on site) and walk literally everywhere. Yes, there is a bar that bumps at night but the music can barely be heard from the smaller room and we brought earplugs to sleep and had no issues. The pool was a FANTASTIC luxury and we enjoyed it very much between going out and just relaxing.

Please ask close by restaurant/bar that plays music until 4am to please make additional play lists - Music was repetitive :) Wonderful pool very relaxing - Awesome Pool guy (Carlo) was extremely helpful - a wealth of information. (3) Moms and (3) daughters would definitely love to do it again but with (2) blow up beds instead of (1) for better sleeping. Please put a mirror in "master bedroom", would help the "get ready" process!!!! Please beware there is only ONE bathroom for up to 6 people, maybe a half bath would really add to the comfort. Remove kitchen to add additional space as KW restaurants will provide great food. We only needed refrigerator, coffee pot/cups/sink. After all that said, yes, I would stay again.....

We had a such a great time. It's right off the strip and although there was a bar/club next door, when we were inside, we couldn't really hear much - which was nice! The walls that separated the rooms tho do not go up all the way to the ceiling - that was interesting! Wish there was one more bathroom as 1 for 6 people is a little tight. The location of this property was ideal for our friend group, steps away from Duval and the middle of many resteraunts and shops. The private backyard and pool was well kept and enjoyed using the grill for lunch. The two bedrooms are separated by a 3/4 wall (wall doesn't go up to the ceiling so not entirely private) with the smaller bedroom having an extremely loud bed. If you sat on it the creaking could be heard throughout the home. There is a club adjacent to the property that had music playing all day and into the night which if your looking to lay at the pool in quite, this is not the place for you. You cannot heard the music in the house with the a/c's on.

Went with my husband and best friends for a week. Overall, it was great and would definitely stay again. As has been said in other reviews, it is located near bars; however, it was pretty quiet and really did not impact us much at all. The pool needs some TLC, but we were in it everyday - they had pool serviced every morning and it was clean. The floors of the residence could have been cleaner - looks like they needed a good scrubbing, but it was nothing that grossed us out. The water pressure and temp of the shower was great, the kitchen was furnished nicely. the outside grill worked good and the ambiance was amazing. It is pretty much in the middle of everything and we walked everywhere. We had no major issues. The mattresses could be better. There are large iguana's in the trees over the place, and they were cool to see. Really enjoyed our stay and we left very relaxed. Would recommend.

Slept 5 easily 2+2+1, nice little house in the middle of the action. Everything you need. One car only will fit in driveway. If you have 2 cars will have to pay for parking, consider renting a mini van or a suburban as the cost of parking can be as much as renting a large vehicle. And you won’t need a car to get around locally once you are there.

If you are looking for a true Key West Conch Cottage experience this is it! The location of this little secluded place is spot-on right in the middle of Old Town Key West. We walked to Mallory Square as well as the Southernmost Pointe with no problems. I do not think we missed a street running north to south or east to west all by walking. The Bistro next to you has excellent cuisine and across the corner of your block there is one of the best restaurants in Key West. Come in out of the heat, jump in the pool, laze by the water in a private shaded garden until you are ready to go out for the evening is a must! We are scheduled to return again as soon as available.

Music from nearby club was fine, we could hear it loudly by pool (and that was enjoyable) but we could not hear it indoors.

Right off of central Duvall street and walking distance to restaurants and bars. with regards to the club/music - I stayed from Sunday to Monday. they did play music, but it was not loud, on the contrary, worked nicely with the pool. furniture a little dated, but gives character to the place. Futon in living room counts as 3rd bed - could probably use to be replaced or a thicker futon purchased. Everything was in working condition. Backyard was a little dark and could use more lights. overall, I would stay again. it was perfect for what we needed and really loved the location!

Love this place! The pool is bigger than it looks in the photos and gets much more sun. The inside looks like the TV set of the Golden Girls! The location is awesome. For you family goers, you might want to consider another location due to the dance party that goes on Friday and Saturday nights at the neighboring pub. It’s as if the party is in your bedroom. We didn’t mind though because it is key west and a block off Duvall street!!! More like 1/2 a block! It was nice of the property management company to supply some basics such as shampoo, soap, paper towels, tp, etc., because not all Airbnb’s do.

Visited 8/2021 with two teens, one preteen, and gram. Everyone was blown away by the quaint little cottage and absolutely loved it. The back patio is amazing and the pool was perfect. Stayed cool enough in the living room/kitchen all week long. Perfect location for everything we all wanted to do. We had a great trip to Key West at this property. Location could not have been better. Property was as listed and based on the previous reviews I found it to be pretty accurate. Pool to ourselves was great to have to cool off during the heat of the day. A grill is on property but we didn’t use. Parking was great for a full size car and a golf cart with some room to spare. Two things to know…1. You are staying right behind Bourbon Street so you can expect the music but it didn’t keep us up. 2. The tree over the house drops seed pods that can make a noise on the tin roof. Overall if you are there to experience some of the great things that Key West has to offer you will be happy with your choice. We will be staying here again.

perfect location! everything's just like the pictures, backyard is beautiful. The only problem we had was with our small dogs, they found all the holes in the fence that they possibly could. other than that everything and everyone was amazing. you are absolutely within a one minute walk from Duval Street. I honestly don't think that there's another cottage in key West with a backyard this big! Great pool and a great pool guy. he came and serviced the pool every day and chatted with us about the area. we highly recommend this cottage.

Great place! Me and my family absolutely loved staying there. Place was very clean and we enjoyed the pool! Walking distance To everything. The only thing I can say is the location was behind a hotel that hosted parties and loud music. Most of the time it was very enjoyable, we would swim in the pool and night and enjoy the 80’s collection they played. However our last night there was a very very loud DJ and the the bass from the music was so loud and made the entire house a little unbearable. We have three children with us and no one could sleep until it was finally over at 4am.

Let’s start with the “wow” factors:
1. Private spot (and quiet) with private parking (inside white picket gate) in the heart of Key West Historic district-within walking distance to just about everything. 2. Beautiful and secluded backyard oasis with in ground pool, plenty of furniture and grill.
3. Lovely accents inside-vaulted wood ceilings and wood French doors to each room
4. Beautiful master suite.
We really enjoyed our stay despite,as in other reviews, that the living room furniture is shabby and in need of replacement and the kitchen is in need of upgrades. We were never able to access the WiFi and had difficulty with a malfunctioning elock but eventually got in. Despite these things, we would return as it is such a wonderful location.

We had a lovely stay on Key West while at the Vacasa property. It is very close to Duval street and all of the shops and restaurants are within walking distance. I highly recommend renting a golf cart while visiting as autos get very cumbersome with parking and pedestrian traffic. Overall great location and my children loved having a private pool to themselves.

We loved Key Lime Calypso. Literally in the heart of Key West, with the luxury of a fenced in back yard and heated pool. One block off Duval Street. Off street parking as well. There were a couple of things I would like to see improved. One is the smaller double bed mattress, which noticeably sags and has seen better nights. A shelf in the bathroom for personal items would be good. One word of warning about the proximity to Duval Street; the late night music can be very loud. We understood that might be the case. Should probably be mentioned in the description of the listing. It’s that loud, lol. But really an awesome place. Such a pretty backyard.

Adorable home in a great location with a fantastic outdoor space out back. We highly recommend booking here but bring some lanterns or flashlights as the backyard area doesn’t have a ton of lighting so if you want to hang out after dark, you’ll want a little help lighting the space. We picked up two $4 battery operated lanterns from the CVS just down the street and it worked just fine.

The location was perfect for what we needed! Close to Duval street and near a lot of bars. The pool was the highlight and we spent a lot of time outside. This key west home was worth the price. This is perfect location right next to Duval. The private pool and spacious backyard is really what stood out for me. The private parking was also a plus. The down falls would be the contious falling of seeds from the tree above hitting the tin roof. This would happen about every five-ten minutes, sounding like monkeys throwing apples at the roof. However I would say you do get used to the sound and becomes a unique character to the stay. The house was clean, beds were nice enough. However the pull out couch was broken, we ended up having to purchase a blow up mattress instead. Overall I would most definitely rent this location again.

My husband and I needed a getaway during Covid times. We did not want the crazy Key West vibe. With all the restrictions we were as happy as could be. Music from the club behind us stopped at 11. Even though we could barely hear it inside cottage as the air conditioner was loud (not complaining about that!). The Spanish lime trees dropping the fruit on the metal roof was louder than anything but we got used to it after a night.
We had a great time at the pool and our dog loved the yard. Be aware if your dog is a bird chaser as there are chickens right behind the house. Luckily ours is not interested in birds.
Nice chats with pool guy who showed up just after 8am everyday. He guided us to the big iguana which we did actually see one day.
Was perfect for 2 humans and a dog. Not sure I would share the inside with a bigger group. Comfortable king bed.
Private parking and a great location. We will definitely be back!

You cannot beat the location of this property! Easy walk to all the fun spots in Key West. The house was plenty big for our group of 5, and the outside was very spacious and private. Yes, you can hear the music from the bar next door while outside (we enjoyed it), but not from inside the house. The heated pool was chilly - we were told it takes a couple days to warm up, and since the house was not rented before us, it never did get warm while we were there for the weekend. Early check-in was easy and seamless. Great experience - highly recommend.

There is a gas grill out back as-well there is a free shuttle service to and from port or airport. If the after pressure starts making a squeal sound all you have to do is turn on the bathroom sink and turn it off a couple times.

For late check-ins - just make sure with hosts that your key is available in the locker box, because ours was missing for some reason and had to wait for 2 hours to get the reply with a door code. I am sure it was just a single mistake, but otherwise everything was great!

Great location as it’s just off Duval street. It’s not close to some of the major attractions on Duval. It’s convenient enough as the island is quite small. Southern point is really close so that’s a quick visit. Major key is the pool which was cleaned daily. The bar next door does play music from 11 AM until late and you can hear it quite clearly while outside, but it’s not so loud in the house.

The rental had plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and an ironing board, although we never found the iron. It was close enough to walk to everything we wanted to do, but still at the quiet end of town. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The backyard at this place is worth a million bucks! We enjoyed it every morning and evening, and the heated pool was amazing at night! Even though you have houses on all sides, the privacy fence and greenery made it feel super private, and our dogs loved the place and felt right at home as well. I'm picky, and maybe spoiled, and I dont like having to share the pool so this was perfect! ;)The offstreet parking is a must in Key West! I don't know what we would have done without it. Location wise, this house is central to everything. You can literally walk to just about everything. Only con would be the proximity to the Bourbon St/New Orleans House and they don't stop partying until 4 in the morning like clockwork. Didn't bother us too much as the AC unit in the bedroom drowns the noise out, but light sleepers may need to bring some earplugs. But honestly, for the price, you can't beat it. We would definitely stay again!
