Nice two bedroom, two bathroom condo. Beds were comfortable, great to have a refrigerator, microwave and cooktop. We had everything we needed. Bathrooms do have soap, shampoo, conditioner and a hairdryer. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning enjoying our coffee and just relaxing. Biggest perk for us was having free parking spaces. We ended up driving down, so had our car and rented a golf cart.

The unit is very quaint; the neighborhood quiet. The unit was large enough to accommodate 6 people, 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each, and a pull-out sofa). It was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The entrance to unit is a side entrance. We were given a code to enter the unit with no issues there (there's a QR code to help you navigate the lock if you get stuck). There are about 4 small steps to enter the rental. There are no closets in either bedroom. There's a long metal rod with 3 hangers in each room. That was plenty for us. We used the 2 nightstands on either side of our beds to put away some of our stuff. There are 2 bathrooms and they both looked modern unlike the rest of the house. The furniture in the house looked a bit dated but it was functional. There was a starter welcome kit when we arrived. It had dish soap and a sponge for the dishes amongst other things that didn't make sense for this rental, such as dishwasher detergent but there's no dishwasher. There were plenty of towels for everyone as well as beach towels. There was plenty of toilet paper as well. They provided us with 2 sets of shampoo, conditioner and a bar of soap. There were 2 sets in each bathroom, plenty to start with. And 2 hairdryers, one in each bathroom! There was a coffee maker, toaster, microwave, pots and pans and kitchen supplies. There was no washer/dryer or dishwasher in the unit. There are 3 AC units, one in each bedroom and one in the living room. It was plenty comfortable to keep the place cool. There was an iron and ironing board as well. There was a nightlight in every room and bathroom. They thought of everything! Even a full size mirror in the common area. The location was perfect. It's only one block from Duval Street and everything else was within an 18 to 20 minute walk. It was great to have free parking right in the back yard of the unit. We left our car in the parking spot and walked everywhere. Sitting on the front porch to soak up some sun and the "feel" of the town as people walked by or rode by on their bikes was a highlight of the rental. There's also a side porch that was more in the shade to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Overall, it was a great place to stay on our mini getaway.

Was perfect for our long weekend away. Lots of street noise but that seems to be the community as a whole and made the front porch sitting even better. The location was excellent - we never touched our car after we unloaded it.

This is a gem of a location. There good restaurants just up around the corner and the hustle and bustle of the nightlife is easily within walking distance as well as attractions. And for two couples it is really convenient having two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

We loved our stay here. We enjoyed reading about the history of he home. Perfectly located in town. Easy access to everything and a beautiful place to say while we enjoyed Key West.

2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms was perfect for our group. Spare Items were organized and placed neatly out of site. Plenty of room to unpack and relax for 4 to 6 people. The walking distance to Duval is 2 blocks and puts you center Duval St. These reasons are what made our stay at the Gardenia Getaway amazing and was too short. Loved the map in the front hallway.

The property was as described and the location was perfect. Two blocks from Green Parrot, one block from Duval. Beds were comfortable however one of the AC units in one bedroom was underperforming, might need to be recharged.

This apartment was a gem find in the middle of old town. Within walking distance from everything Key West day-life and nightlife has to offer. The apartment is spacious and accommodated 2 couples very comfortably. We started our day lazily on the beautiful front porch, surrounded by trees and the sounds of birds, which makes you forget that you are just one block away from bustling Duval Street. I would definitely recommend Vacasa and would stay there again.

What a charming house in an amazing location, everything in Key West is within easy walking distance! Having parking available was a huge plus. While the house has that classic older Key West charm, the bathroom looks brand new and was spotlessly clean. We especially loved relaxing on the front porch in the evenings, it was such a treat. Being so close to all the action made our stay even better. We’d definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay. The house was super clean, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We found the location to be great to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go and only had to Uber a couple of times. The neighborhood was quiet at night and felt safe for 4 women to walk at night.

Gardenia was exactly as described in the posting. It was very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect. Close to everything - very walkable, yet away from the hustle and bustle of Duval Street. Also having a parking space available to us was perfect. The only miscommunication we had was regarding washer/dryer. Usually we don't care, but we had been on a 7 day road trip prior to our stay at Key West and were told there was a washer and dryer available to us on the property (behind the building). Which in fact it is not available for guests (only for cleaning service). It was not a big deal as there was a laundry facility a couple blocks away. I only mention this so other guests are made aware if this is something they are expecting. We would definitely stay at Gardenia again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

This is a relatively quiet neighborhood within quick walking distance of downtown. We happened to be there during TuTu Tuesday which was not ideal for our family and there was someone running through the yard at 3am shouting "I was with her the whole time!" over and over. (so unless you like a very naked bar scene check your dates and the happenings in key west before you go) However, despite the ruckus from that guy, we felt safe inside our house and we couldn't hear anything from the bars or nightlife going on once inside and it was still peaceful and easy to sleep. Needs were comfortable and space was perfect for what we needed. I would stay here again!

This is the best place I have ever been in Key West. Very modern, clean, all amenities. Very spacious and simply amazing. Very closed to Duval and where everything is happening. We loved the place and will definitely rent it again.

This condo was the perfect place to stay. It is located in a great neighborhood close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to Duval Street. The parking space in the back of the unit is also a plus. The condo has two nicely renovated bathrooms. Previous reviews stated the lack of kitchen items. The kitchen does have a large sink as well as stovetop. There is also a four piece dish set and stainless flatware as well as various kitchen appliances. One item to mention….the unit is well lit outside, however; the bedroom blinds do not filter out the light. If you are light sensitive, you may want to bring a sleeping mask.

Amazing stay in Key West! Awesome location. 1 bloc away from Duval street, but far enough to be quiet at night. Went there with my girlfriend and my 80 yo aunt. Most attractions are walking distance which was a big plus for us. Parking was easy and really convenient. Bathroom was really nice with a large glass shower. Thanks again, we enjoyed it so much!

This was one of our best VEBOs. We were only here two nights, so if here longer we probably would have wanted something bigger, with a full kitchen. Also, the only negative is the bed is soft and a little creaky, and we would want a king if here longer. But this property is so clean and in an excellent location! Very cute, safe, clean neighborhood, Duvall St is only about 2-3 short blocks. Harbor/Conch Republic Seafood Co only a half mile away. Also, they think of small but important details - extra pillows and blankets, beach towels, travel size Dove shampoo, conditioner, soap in bathroom, two luggage racks for your suitcases. And of course the free parking space is so convenient and saved us $$ since we rented a Jeep. Check-in soooo easy, and no complicated check- out requirements. Great job Vacasa!

The location of this apartment was great! It was close enough to the action, but being one street over it was still quiet. This place was the perfect size for my husband and I, but if we had planned to stay longer than a few days - the lack of kitchen amenities would have been a struggle. No plates or silverware, bring your own - and you’ll only be working with a microwave to cook with! So don’t plan on buying a frozen pizza to pop in the oven, or eggs for a quick breakfast. Also, remember if you grab stuff for cereal- you need to bring your own bowls and spoons. They give glasses, but there’s no kitchen sink, so you’ll wash them in the bathroom. Again, the place had a perfect location, and was great for a quick getaway.

Would definitely recommend if you're just needing a place to leave your car, get ready, and sleep at. It's SUPER close to all the fun night life, but wouldn't recommend walking to the beach (further than it appeared but not bad). Check-in was easy, and place is facing the road so its easy to find, and Vacasa gives very clear instructions.

My husband and I made a last minute decision to join our friends in Key West. We rented this place because it was near Duval street and close to where our friends were staying. Very nice & clean. Awesome shower! No kitchen sink or silverware but we made do just fine. Didn't plan to eat much at the house anyways because there were too many awesome restaurants around. On a quiet street. Didn't hear any neighbor noises either. Bed was very comfy. Lots of towels and beach towels supplied. Will stay here again if possible in the future.

Location was amazing. We loved how convenient everything is. Great restaurants just across the street on corners or down the block. Duval was one block over. Food market was 2 blocks away. Private parking spot! Which is huge! We watched the place across the street, guest after guest, pull up, check in, come back 30 minutes later walking down the street with bags.. Yep a parking spot behind where you are staying is big.
Bed slept so well. The shower has HOT water! Spacious bathroom. Loved reading about the history of the house, really neat.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION…this is 1 block from Duval st. Highly recommend. Once we arrived, we parked the rental car & walked everywhere we needed to go. We were in town to celebrate my sons 21st birthday and this house was perfect. The local host called after we checked in to make sure everything was satisfactory and there was an AC in the bedroom and 1 in the living room so we stayed nice & cool.

What a BEAUTIFUL unit in a perfect part of town. Everything was within walking distance including an awesome place for brunch right across the street (Sarabeths) and a wonderful coffee shop right around the corner (Keys Coffee Co). The parking spot was also a real bonus! I was worried about the room air conditioners being enough in July but they were perfect! HIGHLY recommend!!!

Gardenia Getaway was a great place - very close to everything yet the street was very quiet. Be aware to bring plastic forks, etc with you - there are none there. Just a couple mugs & a few glasses. No plates or anything else. Otherwise this was a great place - perfect size for 2 people!

The place was immaculate and a charming older B&B style unit. It was close enough to Duval St for walking yet just far enough away from the craziness. The area is well lit and comfortable for walking at night! The unit came with all the amenities and enough pillows and towels! Keep in mind this is B&B and expectations should be as such. It is. It for anyone looking to cook full meals! EXCELLENT UNIT FOR THE B&B EXPECTATIONS!

Wonderful! Exactly as advertised! Location is perfect for Dry Tortugas ferry, restaurants, grocery store and Duvall Street! We walked to all…..less than a one way mile….mostly less than half! Free private parking an absolute benefit!
Bed was comfortable. Little microwave worked well. Air conditioning blocked out some of noise from the few fire engines and trash collectors. We are early risers, but the trash collection begins at 3am….could have just been the days we were there though.
Sofa sat comfortable. WiFi worked great. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends and family!

We enjoyed our stay as it was the perfect size place for a couple or even two additional people if needed. The parking spot on site behind the property was a nice bonus considering that parking can be a problem based on previous stays. There was air conditioning in the bedroom and living room which was also a nice feature. Only downside to the place was the fact that there is a small kitchenette with a normal sized refrigerator, a medium sized microwave, toaster and coffee maker. So plan for small things or eating out the majority of the time. Other then that, close to everything, great location, little on the nosier side if you are a light sleeper but that’s apart of the location.

This spot appears to be an old house museum that was repurposed into a BnB. Spacious redone bathroom, sitting room with a nice sofa, TVs and a decent sized bedroom. Most importantly though, A/C! We used this spot as sort oasis from the sun. Its possible to walk most anywhere with this as your home bases for cooling off and planning your next stop. Kitchen however is miniscule. Its literally a shelf with some plates. Just go eat out.

Lovely house in a great locale is an easy walk to Duval Street & Mallory Square. We parked our car, upon arrival, & didn’t need it, again, until we were ready to leave. The house is very clean, has a comfy queen bed & nice bathroom w/a large walk-in shower.

You can’t beat this location. Walk everywhere. Great porch for people watching & the conch train goes by often.
Best shower, nice TVs, comfortable bed.

This is our first time to Key West. We love the town, the people and these ‘cold winter days’!! The floor plan of this unit is a little quirky, but doable. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, comfortable couch. Use the bathroom sink to wash your dishes. Think of the last time you remodeled the kitchen-very doable. Would recommend a laundry rack to hang wet swimwear...hope to come again!

You really can't beat the location and charm. We did have some difficulty working the remote controls and I would recommend putting bus map in the place. We found ourselves using the free bus to get around, which was nice. The space was clean and communication was good.

This quaint little place was in the perfect walking location to loads of bars and restaurants. We didn't take an uber our entire stay. The bed was comfy and the bathroom was beautiful! The only con was there is no silverware, plenty of cups but no silverware. Also it would be nice to have a sink in the little kitchenette area. The fridge was a great size! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Our room was very cute and clean, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's in a great location in Key West and everything is within walking distance. The one downside of that is it can be a bit noisy as cars go by at night since people stay up late drinking a few streets over while in Key West. And this unit was the first unit facing the street (I believe there is another apartment behind the house) so we were woken up in the middle of the night by a speeding moped. I'm not sure if that can be avoided in the heart of Key West as it seemed to be a rowdy place at night.
Otherwise, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would recommend others stay at this location as well.

This is a great spot in Key West if you are looking for something centrally located and affordable. It was a perfect amount of space for my best friend and I, however, I would not recommend more than 2 people staying here. It was very clean and tidy, exactly as pictured. I would definitely recommend to a friend. If you stay here: Bring simple things like spoons, bowls, coffee filters, etc. We did not and regretted it. The kitchen is very simple, only the very basics.

The gardenia suite is at the front of the house with a nice front porch for people watching. You are only a block off of Duval , just steps away from Sloppy Joes. The unit seems newly updated with a nice bathroom and a large shower. Unit also has a full size refrigerator with an ice maker, microwave and coffee maker. The unit has two large flatscreen TV's, cable tv and internet. The unit is cooled by 2 noisy window A/C units. Kinda annoying if watching TV, but also great white noise if you are a light sleeper. Overal, great location, perfect size for 2, clean and fresh unit.
