Great stay for home base while on the key. The pool is a great way to relax in a quiet neighborhood, and activities, shopping and nightlife all are a short walk away.

This was our second stay at Oceana and third at The Colony. And we’ll be back! Its location is centralized to everything you need, no car needed. The pool and grounds are impeccably cleaned with great attention to detail. Groundskeepers are very personable. The suite is comfortable and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, so easy to get to Duval, beaches, and restaurants. The pool was nice for a quick swim in the afternoon after getting in a lot of steps! It was a little dated, but we were in old town and it was as the pictures showed. Would stay again - hope to get back!

We are frequent Key West visitors and stayed a lot of places. We Absolutley loved this place. Our favorite for sure. The pool made us nervous as it was shared but we took the chance as it was just too hot outside, so glad we did. It was amazing. The other vacationers we shared the pool with were amazing as well. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. The added private patio - was just the icing !!! The AC in the place was on point. We loved it and will stay again.

Our stay was more relaxing than we could ever have thought! The complex, pool, living quarters were superior! The pool and grounds were cleaned daily! 4 parking places (1st come 1st serve) is still better than most places! For vacationers that cook, we were so surprised that the pots and pans were made within this century, such a pleasure to cook! Thank you! We had our own private deck with comfortable table and chairs. Walking distance to Duval and all the shops, bars, restaurants, historic sites and music. So delightful!

We had a great stay. It was the perfect spot for a getaway with my husband. Check-in was a breeze. It was centrally located to lots of restaurants, so we did not need to rent a car. The pool was great, mostly shaded in the afternoon. We enjoyed exploring key west in the mornings, then coming back for a swim before heading out for dinner. We would definitely come back again.

Easy to walk to most things you likely want to do, but still back in the neighborhoods at bit, so it's pretty quiet at night. The photos are accurate and the property is taken care of nicely. Definitely would stay here again.

This was the perfect location for our vacation! It was so serene and private tucked away in its own little corner, but easily walkable to all the action. There were 9 units that shared a pool behind a coded gate; we swam daily and nightly and met some very nice neighbors. The pool was mostly shaded with beautiful landscaping. The home was so cute, bright and clean with everything we needed. We were surprised there was no oven, but we had a microwave and stovetop for cooking and the kitchen was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. The decor was very lovely and made us feel right at home. I also enjoyed the private patio for a cup of coffee and a quick read before starting my day.
Duval was about a 7-minute walk. Mallory Square was about 18 minutes. Southernmost Point was about 15 minutes. Small grocers were around the corner and Fausto's Grocery was a 10-minute walk. El Siboney is a family-owned Cuban restaurant about 7 minutes away that is very delicious!

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable for 2 people, walking distance to restaurants. We didn't rent a car, just walked,
biked or took an uber when we needed to. Uber drivers are numerous, so rides comes very quickly. Place looks like the photos Would recommend.

It was 20 degrees when we left Pittsburgh for Key West, so the warm weather would have been enough. The cottage at 714 Olivia, though, was what made the trip fantastic. The place was immaculately clean. Plenty of towels, both for bathing and for the beach. The lush greenery was breathtaking, and someone came every day to remove fallen leaves from our sizeable private deck and the pool. The kitchen is very generous in size, and the layout makes the cottage feel even larger than it is. There was an internet outage the first night we arrived (more than just our place, though we didn't know that at the time), and Vacasa was very responsive and kept us updated. We walked miles every day in different directions. The place is so centrally located (yet quiet!) that we didn't feel the need to rent bikes or a golf cart, though we could have easily done so. We are already planning our return trip to this little peace of heaven in Key West!

Nice, quiet place that is very close to Duvall St. and other area attractions. It was easy to walk from the rental to just about anywhere we wanted to go. Parking is very limited (4 vehicles in lot max and limited street parking), but we parked and didn't move for several days.
The place was as described and pictured, but some of the posting refers to ongoing construction at the complex that appears to have been completed years ago. The posting could stand a refresh.
Not sure we'll be back to Key West anytime soon, but would look to stay here again.

Location is fantastic! Close enough to walk to Duval and most places within a mile, yet quiet!
The place was just as described. The property was well cared for. The pool right outside your door is a nice perk. Everyone around was nice.
The only issue I had was there is no information in the condo. Although to be fair, things are labeled. We found the washer /dryer after I went to the paid machines. so FYI. they're outside. They don't do that in Missouri 🤣 so I didn't think to look there.
The microwave is also your oven. It was in Spanish so that was a fun experiment.
This is an air bnb that doesn't supply anything in the kitchen such as salt, pepper, oil. Bring or buy on your way down to save on a couple meals. Other than that, they did supply coffee and a couple soap/ shampoo. hotel bottle size.
We had an excellent first visit to the area.
This is a quiet area. If you want to party, stay elsewhere.

My only complaints is there was not enough coffee and when I tried to reach the office on Whitehead Street I couldn't get connected to them directly, even though I had a direct number for them. This condo was a great place for a couple to stay! Conveniently located on a quiet street, even on New Year’s Eve,, only a short walk from all the activity on Duval St. The small condo was attractively furnished, comfortable bed, deck just outside.we’d happily stay there again but next time I’ll bring a couple of ice trays, a decent corkscrew and cooking basics such as salt and pepper, oil, etc. that I usually find in a VRBO.

We loved our stay at Oceania! Great for 2 people and within walking distance to all of Old Town Key West. We were able to park our rental car in the lot most days, too, which we were worried about (first come, first serve parking). We felt secluded while being within the small cottage complex. The neighborhood was quiet even though just a few blacks from busy Duval.

My wife and I stayed for a few days in late January in the Oceana Suite. The place was beautiful and comfortable. It's an interesting arrangement where you come into the compound through a secure portico with a keypad. Inside there's a pool and access to the individual units. Ours had a gate that opened in to a private patio with an umbrella table. The unit had a different keypad that allowed you to come in and out to the patio without reentering the code each time but was easy to lock when we were leaving. The unit was spotless with comfortable furniture and good wifi. It's centrally located on the island but a bit of walk from the busier bar areas and Mallory Square. The transactions were smooth and easy, on arrival day we got an email with access codes, a welcome message from the local property manager and and the last day an automated checkout link. Definitely recommended for couples.

Plenty of towels were appreciated and the place was very clean.
Carport was amazing for the Porsche we drove down, always felt safe and the location was perfect for our stay. Out of the hustle and bustle of Duval, but close enough to feel like we could be apart of it at anytime.
Only downside were the twisted staircases, these LOOK wonderful and provide a great feel to the place. However, super inefficient and if you struggle or are older.. you will have a hard time managing suitcases up and down.
Overall, great stay, we were super happy with the place.

We've stayed in a few AirBnBs in Key West and this was one of the best! Location was almost smack in the middle of the key, so everything was accessible and a few minute bike ride away. The pool in the unit was cleaned every morning and was very enjoyable to relax in when we wanted a break, and the unit itself was very clean, up to date and great to relax in.

Great place, even better than pictured! Was super pleased with how seamless and simple the checkin and checkout process was with Vacasa. We got there early and was able to drop off luggage and have lunch which was really nice, Vacasa recommended lunch at Moondog cafe which was within walking distance to their location and it did not disappoint- such great food and atmosphere!
This house was private and super clean, had everything we needed! We didn’t use the pool, but it was nice to have as an option if we wanted to use it. Location was close to everything, some places closer to walking distance than others, we even walked to and from the main Duval St a few times, and then took Uber. Uber was always 2 mins away and no more than $12, super convenient. We also rented a double moped and highly recommend doing that, so much fun and a great way to explore the island.
Highly recommend staying at this house, we will definitely check if it’s available the next time we visit Key West!

This little gem was perfect for our stay! We stayed at an actual resort last time we came to Key West, but this time we wanted something smaller and quieter. This location delivered! We didn't mind needing to walk 15 minutes to get to Mallory Square, and Duval is only 2-3 blocks away. We didn't have an issue finding parking since there are usually a few non resident spots available on the street, and the property has a few spots in a private lot as well. The pool and property are clean and well maintained, and overall we had a great stay.

We were very satisfied with our stay here. It was spacious and comfortable. Besides that, there are TWO big reasons for staying here.
FIRST, the location is fantastic. It’s truly easy to get anywhere from here. We rented bikes and used the quiet side streets (i.e. Elizabeth) to navigate with minimal traffic. Mallory Square was only 5 minutes away. Duval Street is only a 3 minute walk away.
SECOND, the location is private and quiet. We had neighbors in this neat little cluster, but we rarely heard them. We felt safe and relaxed. We could go enjoy the hustle and bustle when we wanted too, but then retreat to this quiet oasis when we were ready.
Of further note, the property is well cared for and the condo was immaculate. There are also a bunch of terrific restaurants within just a few blocks. Plenty of variety and price points to choose from.

Fantastic place to stay. The house was described well and were pleasantly surprised that the house was even better than the photos. The location is perfect. Just close enough to Duval but still very peaceful and quiet. The house had plenty of space, extra blankets, lots of towels for the bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook. The view of the pool was very nice and the lush greenery still made it seem secluded. We loved having our own patio as well. NOTE: the washer and dryer needed coins, but overall the equipment was fine and it we could pack less. Parking for our golf carts was never an issue. Vacasa was very quick to respond when we had a question. Definitely staying again!

My husband and I stayed at the property for your anniversary. It was exactly as pictured. Very clean and spacious with a nice private pool and patio. Check in and let was easy and the management team was amazing and checked in in us on a regular basis via phone and text. The location was perfect. Very closed to Duval Street and many atttactions were just a short walk or bike ride away but you still felt that you were in a private secluded area.

Place was nice and clean. Everything we needed was there for us. Walking distance from Duval street. We rented bicycles to go other places. Only thing was the ironing board was out but the iron was locked up with the staff supplies. Just glad we really didn’t have to iron anything. Pool was great!

Gorgeous little oasis. So close to Duval for all of the fun, but also feels tucked away! We loved the pool in the middle of all of the condos, surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. We enjoyed getting to know our sweet condo neighbors from all over the country too!

Our stay at Oceana1 was fantastic! The location is perfect, right in the middle of town (there is a bodega at the corner for quick shopping). Beach towels were provided which was a huge plus! We would definitely stay here again, and would suggest it to anyone going!

Clean as promised. Beautiful property. Excellent location. We walked to everything. Air conditioning is powerful. You will want to arrive during the day—parking can be a little tricky—and finding the unit for 1st time is much easier in daylight.

We had three of us and I slept on the pull out couch bed, it was the most comfortable pullout I have ever slept on!! I was surprised to say the least and enjoy staying at your home!

This is a great cottage a few minutes walk form Duval and all the action. The space worked out well for us and our 2 teenage girls. The pool was a welcome oasis in the summer heat and we spent many hours enjoying. I would definitely say here again.

I was very happy with this place, we wish we could have stayed longer! It was perfect for my husband and I. The living room with the vaulted ceiling was very nice with the tropical trees and blue sky visible outside. The pool was very nice to have in the middle of the day when we were ready to crack open a beer and relax in between activities and we enjoyed the small, private deck right outside the door, accessible from the bedroom and the living room. While we didn't get to hang out, there were a few other people staying in the unit (it's a collection of very small stand-alone houses/cottages), and there were nice folks to hang out with and share the pool with in the morning and evening. We didn't cook, just made coffee in the machine (grounds are provided), but it looked like there were plenty of dishes and pots and pans. There is a small grocery store a block away where you can pick up milk or other necessities if you need them, and a CVS a few blocks in the other direction.
The location was nice, just be ready to hoof it almost a mile to get to Mallory Square, or ride the free Duval Loop bus (Google it to get a map and more details), it was very nice and convenient and there is a stop just a couple of blocks away. We opted for a mix of walking and riding the bus, I think you see a lot more of the cute houses and neat little spots along the way if you're walking.
My one complaint is that there was no parking in the lot when we got there. I wish they had emphasized more in the listing that it's first come, first served as far as parking spaces, i.e. you're not guaranteed a space. We were able to pull in to drop off our stuff and then find street parking a few streets away so it was no big deal, but that put a damper on things for a bit. We were able to park after one car left, so that was nice to be able to load up to go to the airport.
If I ever come back to Key West, which I hope to do, I definitely will see if this place is available.

We just returned from a week stay. This was our 3rd year staying at the Colony. The location is a block and a half off Duval St in a old conch home neighborhood. The cottage is roomy enough to live in full time. The deck was great to use. We drove down and even thou there are only 4-5 parking spaces, we never had a problem. We will be back!

It’s a very large one bedroom and even with with 4 people it was very comfortable since the bathroom is outside of the bedroom. The deck outside gives plenty of private outdoor space. Its was very well maintained. Only thing was the dishwasher did not work.

Where do we start...The layout and space in the Oceana Suite was spectacular, the private outdoor deck overlooking The Colony's central pool was an area we would have used more if we could have stayed longer :-(. The location in relation to daily and night time events was close yet far enough that you do not hear the party. The complimentary shuttle service (Mike and Ryan) was a Welcomed surprise, both drivers were accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to booking for our next Key West vacation. This was the perfect vacation home for a couple in Key West. The home is in a good location close to Duval St but not to close to still give you peace and quiet. The home is well decorated and the layout is great. Having a private patio that walks out to a big shared pool with a few others was a nice touch. This home was very clean and the king size bed was amazing. We slept very well in the roomy bedroom. There is a small kitchen perfect size to handle small meals to cook on the stovetop. The home was very relaxing and we had no issues at all. Easy entrance and very welcoming. The home was definitely a great choice!

This unit was gorgeous and beautifully redone with granite countertops and a newly appointed bathroom. We (party of 4) spent two nights here. The place, the amenities and the location were great! Everything was clean, they even made the beds every day. Everything is in walking distance. The place is located in a residential area and very quiet. We enjoyed the pool and the patio a lot. There was no grill but a neighbor let us use his. The second bed is a pull-out couch. We were two adult couples and I would not necessary recommend the couch bed longer than a night. Overall, we would come back immediately and use the place for the two of us. Thumbs up!

This was a very nice 1 bedroom apartment located in the middle of Old Town Key West. Easy to walk anywhere from here. There were 2 bikes provided, and a courtesy shuttle which you can call to take you anywhere on the island. Unit 1 has a spacious private deck with table and chairs, plus a clothesline. We're divers, so this was very convenient for hanging our gear to dry. The small courtyard has a pool. We didn't get in it while we were there, but it looked clean. The apartment was clean and well furnished. The staff in the office were helpful.

Parking was not a problem for us, but I could see how it potentially could be if you have a big car. If you need to do laundry, bring quarters for the washer & dryer.

Recommend Sunset Pier for viewing nightly sunset, recommend Willie T's for Bread Pudding and Key Lime Pie, recommend Sloppy Joes, recommend jet ski excursion with Fury located near Sunset Pier, recommend renting a little electric car to ride around the island to see those places not within walking distances. This was our first visit to Key West and we are looking forward to planning our next visit. November weather was perfect, still warm during the day, nights breezy and cool.

We called when we landed and the driver they provided picked us up right away. He took us to check in and then brought us to the Suite located on quiet Olivia St. in a very nice and safe feeling neighborhood. We had rented scooters for the week to get around (highly recommend and great parking at the villa for them) and our driver took us to the rental place to pick them up. He was great! The Suite was very nice. Perfect size for the 2 of us. It was comfortable, decorated nicely and very clean. There are 8 villas altogether I think that share a beautiful courtyard and pool. The Oceana Suite seemed liked the best location of all of them to me. Literally a few feet from the pool. We could sit on our private deck with the gates open when we felt like meeting other couples that were around or close the gates and just enjoy our private patio with French doors that open to the living room and to the bedroom. It really was great place to stay. It's a few blocks from Duvall, but the quieter end of Duvall, so everything would be quite a walk. This is why I recommend scooters, golf carts, or electric cars. Scooters are the best for parking. We rode them everyday and everywhere on the island. Overall, I think it was a great place for a fair price. Would have no problem staying there again. Thanks!

Loved the patio and we never heard any noise. Two blocks from Duval. KWVR was helpful with everything we needed and the concierge service was incredible. They picked us up to go parasailing and brought the rental bikes right to us. They made all the arrangements and reservations we needed. Truly a vacation experience. We felt very spoiled! I would definitely plan on coming to this exact place again. Only one small thing we wou ld have liked and we just forgot to call about it. The outside lights in the property weren't on when we cam home around eight or nine pm when it was already completely dark. We looked for switches but the ones we saw in the entry way didn't do anything. They seemed to come on later though. Small issue and I'm sure they would have fixed it if we had remembered to call . Otherwise can't wait to come back!

Thank you for your reviews, I purchased the unit in December of 2014. As of the end of July 2015, I have replaced all the doors and windows, Ultra quite AC for the entire unit, and memory foam sleeper sofa, and oversized chair. This September we will be re- doing the tub with a walk-in tile shower, this work is already scheduled to be preformed. By spring 2015 I have all intentions of replacing the floor with bamboo flooring then paint and decorate the entire unit. Property is perfectly located: short walk to Duval, or a corner store, short bike ride to beaches, Dantes and even the market. Enjoyed the pool and our cottage neighbors very much. Tried to reserve it again for next year but learned it has a new owner and will be undergoing renovations. Didn't stop us from booking a different cottage at the property. Only minor negatives, mostly repeat of previous reviews. Hated to leave but love knowing we will be back and working with Key West Vacation Rentals. They picked us up at the airport, stored our bags the day we had to leave and even brought us to the airport when it was time to go- a class act!

Upon arrival, we thought this property was way too small to accommodate us and there was no place to park. However after going around the block, a truck left and we went in. The garden entrance to our suite was lovely and another guest was sleeping on a pool float nearby. Everything was clean,and comfortable. Ceiling fans in every area added to the comfort and there were plenty of cooking utensils. The couch was so comfortable, I did not even open it to sleep. I did have the only minimally filled pillow, and the other couple would have liked a different option for pillows. This property was so well located at mile zero! We walked wherever we wanted to go, and were charmed by the feeling of belonging in this neighborhood. A small local store is a block away for groceries. Only other suggestion is regarding the limited parking....possibly numbered spots? We also "discovered" the old cemetery when we went around the oneway block! An interesting find for history buffs!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great experience with the company. Since Rick took over it has only gotten better! The unit however is in need of an overhaul. Cracked tiles everywhere, doors that don't work and are rotted. The bathroom also needs to be redone, shower falling apart. The maintenance crew showed up immediately and did what they could, fixed the door and even painted! They could not have been more accommodating. We will definitely use them again.

My family and I enjoyed the property very much and would definitely stay here again. I was fortunate to get a parking spot at the property as well. The unit was clean and spacious and close to Duval Street.

BBQ on deck was nice. Foliage had been cleaned up and looked good. Stove top was not functional, but we didn't cook so it wasn't a hardship for us - could be fore the next guy... Quiet, comfortable, clean, spacious, fantastic location, had pool to ourselves several times. KW Vacation Rentals was helpful and accommodating as usual (yay Craig!) - new office was great.

Or condo was only locks from duval street ( we could essentially walk every where), the pool was WONDERFUL, thigs available within the condo were handy, and we loved havig a grill and our own private patio! Only minor drawback was the shower pressure was terrible and it only had two temps- burn yourself hott or ice water cold! A little annoying but not major

It was an older property, so obviously not in mint condition, which we thought added to the charm. The location was perfect, just blocks from Duval Street, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. We loved that the pool was right off our front deck and very private. The AC was frigid cold, and we had plenty of clean towels, and kitchen ware, even paper towels, napkins and dish soap, which I didn't expect. The other guests were super friendly as well. We will definitely plan our next stay there!

Reviewer Comments: This is a great little 1 bedroom apartment with cathedral ceilings and lots of light with everything you need for a few days R&R in Key West. It's a short bike ride or walk from "town" and there is a corner store and a great restaurant Seven Fishes a block away. With a nice pool outside your door (shared with other units)it could use some upgraded furniture especially on the porch but otherwise comfortable and quiet.

The location is just 50 meters from one of the best restaurants, Seven Fish. The street is within walking distance to Duval, but it's quiet. The neighborhood is a good mix of rentals and locals. We felt very safe and comfortable - the unit was clean and newly renovated. We would definitely stay here again!

Close and biking/walking distance to everything. It's an older place but perfect if you don't spend a lot of time in your rental space. The pool right outside the door is also awesome!
