Great property at a great location, the hosts were very responsive. We enjoyed the hot tub and there were lots of places to eat and drink in short walking distance, but still managed to be quiet at night.

My family stayed in this airbnb for a wedding weekend. It was perfect to have 3 bedrooms with king size beds. We loved that the back room had a door that could be closed to the hall that led to the bedroom and bathroom, great privacy for that couple. The amenities were perfect, we enjoyed the hottub and everything was as promised. We were just steps from Duval Street and tons of shopping and restaurants, I only wish we had more time to explore. Everything was very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Thanks for the hospitality!

The MOST PERFECT location for those wanting to explore Old Town Key West. Can walk top to bottom and side to side of the whole island (and we did!). The space was clean, roomy, and private even though it is literally steps from Duval Street! No late night loud noises, no people walking right past your front door and windows; yet still seconds from all the action Key West has to offer. And the host was immediately responsive each time I reached out. Highly recommended!

The location of the house is perfect. Easily walkable to all of Duval. Parking for one car. Beds were great. Covered back porch that is fenced in was great for late night hanging out. Would stay again.

You drive up and think it’s a tiny home and open the door and step foot into old Florida layout (as a Floridian we don’t see that anymore) you are a few minutes away from Hemingway House, Seaside Cafe and so many spots to eat and drink.

Fantastic stay at Amelia House! The location is perfect—just steps from Duval Street and walking distance to all the best spots in Key West. The cottage is quiet, clean, and cozy with a private yard and hot tub that we loved. Beds were comfortable. We parked at a public parking overnight which was $15 per night, our vehicle was too big to park in front of the house, we rented a golf cart and it worked perfectly for traveling all around Key West which made it easier. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was very cozy and had everything we needed. We rented a golf cart for the weekend which fit perfectly right in front of the house. It was in a great location as well which made it easy to walk around but also a quick drive if we wanted to go farther. Perfect spot for our group of 6 for a night on the town in Key West. 3 king beds were a luxury. Great location and walkable to the hot spots (25 min walk to Mallory square. 7 min to southernmost point.). Very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay there again. Parking spot is a huge plus. Note that it is right in front of the house. That could have been a bit clearer in the instructions. We couldn’t check in until 4 but they did let us pat there when we got in town which was super helpful.

If you are looking for a plush, all new, modern home, then keep looking... BUT, if you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and conveniently updated vacation rental, THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. The beds were comfortable, pillows were full and soft, ceiling fans a plus, sheets and towels fresh and white, all necessary amenities in full working order and a stocked kitchen if you want to do light cooking on the stove top (may need to contact host for instructions.) Plenty of TP, extra paper towels, dish soap, and bathroom toiletries to get you started. The location, even though right at the corner of Duval, was quiet (end of January 2025). The Hot Tub Spa has been replaced (since older reviews of non-working issues) which was a nice way to relax at home. The back patio and front porch swing offered additional comfortable spots to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. We rented a mini-van for our stay which tucked nicely in the parking space in front of the home. Prior to our visit I inquired whether the couch was a pull-out sofa and was told it wasn't; however, it did appear to be a pull-out, although we didn't use it or attempt to open it. We had a great time in Key West and would definitely rent this home again!

My sister and I rented the place for ourselves and our 4 young adult kids (ranging from 18-21), and we had a very nice time. The AC is not really "central", has free-standing units in 2 of the bedrooms that vent outside, but they are well installed and do the trick, if a bit tricky to regulate the temperature correctly initially. The place is a typical Key West bungalow that feels like some shoeboxes were nailed together, and the back yard is even smaller than expected. Location is great, we did tons of touristy stuff. Having been to Key West previously, met my expectations. 10/10 would rent again, this can absolutely compete with any other typical Key West rental, but it's not posh like a hotel would be.

The house is quite old, but everything was in working condition and CLEAN! Private backyard with very clean hot tub (never turned the heat on but perfect without it). Just feet from Duval St. and plenty to do!

The Amelia House was everything we could have hoped for. It is PERFECTLY located on a dead-end off Duval right in the middle of it all. The little backyard and hot tub were fantastic, what a fun little space. The rooms are spacious and the house itself is just what you need (and more). Plenty of linens, sheets, blankets, pillows, and a fully equipped kitchen. No issues to report and we really enjoyed our stay. We plan to do it again soon! Thank you!

Our short, but sweet stay was excellent! The property location is excellent and within walking distance to almost everything in the heart of Key West. The property itself, while small was a very rustic/authentic beach vibe and VERY clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights and had no issues. Love that they had three rooms with king beds, even though the house is relatively small. The room in the back can be closed off by a hallway door that limits noise from the little living room area off the front door which was nice. While the cottage is 'dated' in terms of the bathrooms, water pressure, etc. the listing was incredibly accurate and we were looking for this type/level of stay so it was absolutely perfect. You can park a vehicle parallel right in front as long as it is not too large, otherwise given we had two vehicles there was actually a free lot we found on Google that was less than an easy mile walk away at Fort/Olivia. We left one vehicle here the whole time with no issues.

The Key West home was the perfect place for a few nights’ getaway. Comfortable beds, cable TV in the living room and front bedroom to watch our soccer matches. Everything we needed in the kitchen to warm up leftovers or make a quick simple meal. A parking spot in front of the home was a huge bonus being in such a walkable area. We parked and didn’t need a car the whole time. Moondog cafe only a few blocks away was our favorite breakfast, and farther places are a quick and inexpensive rideshare away. Being along Duvall was a great time. The location is 5 stars, quiet neighbors and a great patio out back with a hot tub! Would absolutely stay here again.

The house was clean and located in a great location. It is perfect for a long weekend get away. The only drawbacks were 1. There isn’t really a real kitchen. There is a burner and a toaster oven, but it would be hard to cook a whole meal. 2. There is no washer and dryer. Neither of these things mattered to us, as we were only there for 3 nights, but it could be a problem if one were staying for an extended stay. We would definitely rent this house again.

The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Only issue was not having the correct coffee filters so we ended up going out each morning to get coffee. Owner should supply the coffee filters especially given the special kind they take.

The location was a couple houses off of Duval street and was on the quiet side of the island with easy access to eating. The condition of the property was great!! We were able to bike everywhere we wanted to go and were able to leave our car parked in front of the house!! The only complaint I have is that the hot tub did not work the first 3 days we were there and we only got to use it the last day. I would recommend this property to any of my friends or family!!!

This little house did a great job of serving our purposes: great location - (my lord there was a rum bar 30 feet from our front door!) comfort (temperature control and nice beds promised good rest each night) and cleanliness (not to be confused with “newness” but we felt the place was well kept and very clean). The back patio was a nice hang out. Would’ve been nice to have a sixth chair since there were three couples but we made do. Management was great about contacting us and checking on us periodically. I stayed at the Amelia House with my family and it was in a perfect spot for everything that we planned to do in Key West; we were right in heart of everything but set back enough so that we didn’t hear all the noise at night. The staff was very helpful when we needed something. The kitchen was small but it fit our needs. The bedrooms were perfect and well spaced out from each other and the living room was nice as well. It was nice having our own patio and hot tub and a large table with chairs out back to use after a long day. It was really nice having two bathrooms because there was 6 of us in the house. It was a cute place and my little dog named Oreo felt right at home. I can’t wait to go back to Key West and stay at the Amelia House again!

This house is a great deal, and ideal for a couple or groups of friends. We spent Christmas week here and loved it! The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Literally just a few steps out the front door and you’re on Duval Street, but once you’re ready for a quiet evening, you can avoid all the party noise in this house. Highly recommended! We will definitely stay here again.

Amelia House was perfect. Right near the heart of Duval Street District. On a quiet cul-de-sac so it was right up our alley. The house had big bedrooms (for Key West). Big comfy beds and all the amenities we needed. Only thing we brought was a Keurig coffee maker for convenience and ease of cleaning. Nice outside area. Will rent this again!!

Our stay was great!! A group of us stayed here for a Bachelorette weekend, and it was perfect for this. The bedrooms and living area were spacious and very clean. The bathrooms were also large, and several towels were provided for all the guests.
Only difficulty was with parking since it only fits one car tightly. However, we figured out a parking area close by that was convenient. Although there is no stove, we brought a portable skillet and used the microwave there. Full size fridge was definitely helpful to have. The host was very responsive and easy to reach with any questions we had.
Overall, it was a very cute space, and an AMAZING location next to Duval Street. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Key West ist absolut eine Reise Wert. Wir hatten zwar nur zwei Tage und eine Nacht (wir wären gerne länger geblieben) aber dies war absolut top.
Die Unterkunft ist direkt an dem Hotspot gelegen, direkt an der Duval St. auf der sich eigentlich alles abspielt. Und das Best, genau um die Ecke ist die Rumbar..... lecker.
Jetzt zum Haus,die Betten das Bad war alles top sauber. Vom Handtuch bis zum Spüli war alles vor Ort.
Ein Highlight ist auch der Whirlpool
Im kleinen Hinterhof.
Gerne wieder liebe Molly, nur dann definitiv ein paar Nächte länger.

This beautiful quaint house is located at a perfect spot. It is close enough to Duval Street to make everything walking distance (restaurants, beach, bars, etc.), but tucked in enough that we don’t hear the Street night time hustle and bustle.
We love the swing on the front porch! Morning coffee and little talks were done there. The couches in the common room were very comfortable. Our beds were good sizes and made us have restful nights.
Our friends and I just can’t say enough great things about this place! We totally recommend it to anyone who is thinking about exploring the Keys, bring your bikes or just walk! We will very much stay here again on our next visit!

This place is fantastic! Very quiet to be so close to Duval Street. Plenty of food and activities were very close by, and it was only a 10 minute walk on Duval to the party district. The home was as advertised and extremely clean. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels were available. It was nice to have the patio out back as well. I would not hesitate to book this home again.

Positives: Very close to the Southernmost House (where we were busy with wedding activities) Still walking distance to the north end of the island (although scooting around is the best) Big Beds AC is great I loved the hot tub although seeds from the trees blew in and when I first turned on jets, it literally sprayed me in the face (not sure about that function lol) The front porch is sweet and nice to swing or rock when having your morning coffee. Back patio feels secluded and has a grill and table for hanging out. two bathrooms were enough for 6 people. The company was easy to get a hold of. Cleaning service came in every day and made the beds and refreshed the towels (a great perk!!!) We had two cars and really only used the one that we had in the parking spot...the other car was parked on the other side of Amelia the whole week. Yes you are right off Duval, but it's the quiet part of Duval. I was VERY happy with the location in general. Negatives: the front door only truly locked when using the deadbolt. on day 2 I let them know about the bathroom sink not draining and they said they would look at it but never did. The fridge is cheap and has a really hard time closing. We had a hard time getting cold water out of the tap for drinking. Another downside was the price but I think we all felt like it was a good investment and that we would stay there again. Overall very happy and can't wait to come back!

Parking was OK for one vehicle, but was able to find another place close by.

Everything has been perfect from reservation to check-out. We (family of 5 adults) have had a wonderful stay at Amelia House. You could not ask for a better location. It is shielded from the bars and parties on Duval but close enough to everything. The rooms are large enough. Not much wardrobe space or any, but we managed with our suitcases as storage. The hot tub is fantastic. We used it everyday. It got rinsed once during our stay (7 nights). The grill is excellent for dining in. The house's condition is good, and had everything you needed. New towels and change of sheets daily is great service. You have the option not to have the service if you dont need it. Personell were friendly and helpful. We received the perfect care. Would definitely recommend this property.

Best spot in Key West as far as I am concerned. Lovely house! Large beds! And the beds actually sleep good! This place is on the quiet end of Duval - meaning you can sleep at night and not hear constant revelry. It is close to South Beach - only 3 blocks, it is close to a really great AM coffee spot - Cafe Moka. Great shopping. And the really great part is that the Speakeasy Rum Bar is on the corner. The only thing I would suggest is that the rental website mention that hairdryers and beach towels are provided - lol - one less thing to pack! I would stay here and no where else when traveling with a group. We were 6 people and there was plenty of space - we didn't feel like we were on top of eachother.

Our group of 7 loved the house. The patio/grill/hot tub were a great bonus. Everything was very clean, updated and well kept. We were within walking distance to just about everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely use this company again on our next trip and would recommend them to our friends.

Any issues we had were immediately addressed by management. This house is perfectly located between South beach and all things Duval street! The best is having the Speakeasy Rum Bar on the corner! Great place a block away for breakfast and coffee. Quiet at night. Free Wifi. There is a TV and cable in every bedroom. There are no dressers to put your clothes in - you get a nice big bed instead, but there is a place to hang up your clothes and suitcase stands for all else. And of course large closets in the bathrooms. Love the fact that they also provided large beach towels! Highly recommend this place for a group of 6. Not sure how good the couch would have slept - maybe for kids who don't have bad backs.

It was absolutely perfect! Lots of room, a/c worked great, patio & hot tub in rear of house was a great place for us to hang out. One block in from Duval street and the quiet end of the strip. We especially loved the giant hot tub and grill in the backyard, which we put into good use after the boys' fishing trip. Just a stone's throw from the Rum Bar - one of the best spots in Key West - but still a quiet getaway. We will definitely be back!

The Amelia House was perfect! House was so comfortable. Very clean and very well taken care of. The bedrooms were spacious and roomy. Beds were so comfortable and big. Loved the outside patio area. Was very spacious and loved the fact that there was a very large hot tub. Location was super convenient and so easy to get to. Definitely recommend this place! Already want to book our next stay for the Amelia House!

The weather was beautiful, the people were friendly, and our family didn't stop laughing. The management was were accommodating to our large group, helping with check in/out, early check in, rides to and from the airport and a little tour of some of the key places! Talk about top notch treatment! The house was clean,bed were comfortable, and the outside area was perfect for breakfast and post night on the town recapping. The place was clean, we felt safe, and loved being close to the famous rum bar!!!

Very pleased with the Amelia house, it was exactly what I expected but even cleaner and nicer. We had 6 girls staying and yes, more closet/dresser space would have been nice but that's stretching to find something wrong. It is small but I excepted that, you can tell from the pictures, but I'll take king sized beds over a bigger space anyday, you spend all day out enjoying the city! We didn't use the kitchen or grill for eating, so I would say if you plan on cooking in, use the grill, the kitchen is small with only 2 burners. I loved the location, easy walk down to everywhere. Also, we had rented 6 bikes for 2 days and I didn't think about storing them, the side locked gate was so easy to get them in and out, I'm sure most places wouldn't have had that. Big hot tub and the back deck and front porch were used a lot just hanging out. Loved that it was on dead end so very little traffic. I would 100% recommend and consider this to come back to. Thank you for a super fun weekend!

I love the Beach Cafe and Louie's Backyard; this property is closer to the south side of the island. It has a nice private deck with a hottub, dining table, and new grill on the deck.

I really enjoyed working with Craig over the phone in lining up which house would work out for our vacationing group. We had 2 couples and a single person so I preferred to have a 3 bedroom house. When we talked about the Amelia House, it sounded perfect. And I have to say, upon arriving, it was better than I could have imagined. The location was exactly where we wanted to be... off Duval Street yet quiet at night. It was the perfect size for us. 2 bedrooms with king size beds share a jack-and-jill bathroom. The 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom are down the hall with a doorway to separate it from the main area. I really appreciate how they make perfect use of everything in the house. And how everything felt 'clean'. The beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was so nice to come home to each night and was big enough for all 5 of us! The kitchen had everything we needed. They kept us well stocked with towels. This house really put a smile on our stay! And the management (I talked mostly with Craig) was great. They always answered my phone calls and all my questions. What a pleasure to work with! We had a fun time at sunset at Mallory Square... especially watching the 'crazy cat guy'... the Mel Fisher museum was really interesting... Hemmingway's House was a good tour stop... also the Aquarium was fun with feeding the stingray's. The Butterfly Conservatory was so pretty. My daughter and I really enjoyed our messages at Prana Spa on Whitehead. They truly are the best. We ate many times at the awesome Banana Cafe... which is ridiculously close to the Amelia House. The breakfast at La-Te-Da... also around the corner from the house... was to-die-for. For a great dinner, we ate at Grunts... Wow! We had to go back a second night there. My salad at The Southernmost Beach Cafe was delicious. And you can't beat the view with being right on the beach. Our vacation truly was perfect, even the weather cooperated. However, coming home each night to the Amelia House was what made it the best! We will definitely be booking this house again in the future.
