We had a great stay just off of Duval Street at this property. I was exactly what we needed for a long weekend stay with our parents. The backyard is spacious and relaxing with couches, lounge chairs and a hot tub. The home is historic and has touches of Key West history hung up throughout. The rooms have king beds but are *tight* - as in you can't open your suitcase fully in the room - but we were fine with that tradeoff. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, and more affordable than other options in the area. I'll recommend this place to family and friends who come to Key West for our wedding next year.

Best of both worlds. Quiet and secluded with a hot tub in back but walk around the corner and you are on Duval. Easy to walk to restaurants, happy hours and galleries. Also close to attractions such as Hemingway House. We had a fabulous time!

This place is the best location and the parking spot was a huge bonus. We rented a golf cart snd easily toured the entire island on foot and golf cart. A/C unit in each bedroom was great so we could all set the temps where we wanted and the background noise totally blocked out the street noise. We were there for a wedding and used the living room and kitchen for the wedding day bride and attendants makeup and hair and it was perfect. Even took a few photos on the patio. A CVS just around the corner was easily accessible by foot for all the necessities and there are tons of great restaurants and entertainment all within a few blocks.

Everything was great. I booked this unit for a trio of sisters coming in for a retreat to console themselves after the death of their mother. It was close to our retreat center and beautifully maintained. They never used the hot tub so cannot comment on that

What an adorable home and a great location in Key West. Great Cottageville wonderful back porch to sit out on and have coffee. Hot tub was awesome to get into after walking all day. Kitchen had a nice big fridge big stove cabinets full of glasses, dishes, silverware. Most of the beds were comfortable, everything was great. Recommended highly.

Easy "check in". Really like the property. It was clean and comfortable. The location is right off Duvall Street. Minimal clean up required to "check out". Would definitely stay here again if I'm back in Key West. Be aware, parking is tight if you are driving mini van or SUV.

This place met our needs perfectly, right on Duval walking distance to almost everything but tucked away nice enough that it wasn’t loud at night. It was as clean as could be expected, 3 king beds perfect for 6 adults. The outdoor space was great as well. The only knock is that the hot tub didn’t work and never got fixed during our stay but Vacasa did respond and at least sent someone to look at it.

My friends and I came to Key West for a Bachelorette trip and this was the perfect Airbnb for us to stay in! It was within walking distance to all of the bars and restaurants we wanted to go to but also tucked down a quiet side street. The listing was very clean and looked just like the pictures. The beds were also really comfortable. I would rebook this place in a heartbeat!

A perfect sized home for 6 people. 3 rooms with comfortable king sized beds and access to outside yard. Perfect petite kitchen and common areas were were well done! We did not cook in but could have. Great use of space as its not a huge building. Outside yard is private, hot tub was clean and cosy outside furniture. plenty of room for everyone. Not fussy but just right in a very quiet location, even though it was off Duval. We rented a golf cart and had space to park behind our car. We would stay here again in a second! wish I were still there. Vacasa homes was very welcoming!

3 day 2 night trip. 3 couples The best part was the 3 bedrooms all with king size beds. The cottage itself was an older quaint well supplied home. We didn’t cook but it seemed to have everything necessary. A few tried the hot tub no complaints. If you are looking for a view the backyard was nice but the cottage is in an alley nothing to admire out front. The place is about 50 steps from Duval street yet is was very quiet at night this time of year. Would definitely rebook again

Our family had an event at the Hemingway House. This property was perfect for that location. Additionally, it is just off of Duval so you can escape the hustle and bustle. We worked with the Inn next door to have room for our truck. Overall, perfect fit for our family!

The little cottage (actually 3 bedrooms-2 baths) was perfect for us. Situated right in the middle of all the activity of Duval Street and within walking range over almost everything we wanted to do. The cottage is not fancy but very clean and very comfortable.

This house was the perfect accommodations for myself and 7 friends to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house is right off Duval, but you would not know. It is set back far enough as to not hear any of the night time excitement of Duval. The rooms are spacious and the beds were comfortable. House was very clean. We did not experience any bugs, black feet or smells mentioned in other reviews. We truly enjoyed our stay. A few suggestions for the owner.. there is not a broom or vacuum in the house which makes it difficult to do a daily sweep of the kitchen floor. The kitchen lacks a can opener, cork screw and some storage bowls and a pitcher for drinks. These are standard items I would have expected in a home I am renting. We went to the store to purchase these items to get through the week. Also the front bathroom door sticks and people get stuck inside needing outside assistance. It’s possible it is from the humidity, but it should be looked at. Overall, this house was perfect for our getaway and I would definitely stay here again.

There are no spices or oil so bring everything to cook. The pull out couch was pretty awful so try to only need to beds, which were lovely. Recommend for easy spot downtown.

Like most reviewers I was impressed with the home. There are a few things to know as well: The pros: Location is great. You are right by Duval St but the noise isn't bad at all. There is 1 (tight) parking space which is amazing since you'd be paying for it elsewhere. The inside of the home was nice enough and clean. The all unit ACs do a good job keeping it cool. They have plate, cups, pots, pans, baking sheets, silverware, ect. The things to know (not really cons, but knowing this can make it more comfortable there): The kitchen has no salt or pepper, spray oil for cooking/grilling provided so you either need to bring it or do without. There aren't any basic condiments live ketchup or mustard so if you plan to do some cooking make sure to bring those. Overall it was a great place for the 6 adults in our group and I would highly recommend it.

5 of us stayed for 4 nights after 4th of July. The house was conveniently located to Duval which gave us easy access to just about everything we needed in Key West. The house definitely is dated, but Vacasa has done a good job of maintaining it the best they can. Like other reviews, the floors were dirty, but it’s to be expected in a rental with that much traffic. Personally, I did not find them to be any dirtier than a normal hotel. The AC units blew cold and the bathrooms were good enough (they get a little hot since there is no ventilation). The water pressure could’ve been better, but, again, it was good enough to get you clean. All 3 king sized beds were comfortable with decent pillows. Linens, towels, and all other aspects of the house were clean and comfortable. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to others.

We just returned back for our vacation and wish we were still there. The house was great and accommodated eight adults without issues. The location was perfect, we would definitely stay there again. The only thing I would add are grill utensils. We grilled a couple of nights and they didn't have any grill utensils to use. We had a great time! Thanks Vacasa!

Location is great, just off Duval a little further from the nightlife so it's not loud but still close enough to walk. Three bedrooms, two baths, no dishwasher and the w/d are outside in the shed. Each room has it's own in wall a/c unit. Was clean and no bugs were spotted anywhere (had seen this in previous review) The front room was a nice spot to get away from the heat and the back yard was great for morning coffee. Would stay here again.

Great location and fairly quiet considering we were a half block off of Duval Street. We easily walked to everything that we wanted to do in Key West. Only one small complaint - kitchen has plenty of items for cooking/eating but there are no pre-stoked supplies such as salt/pepper/spices.

Awesome key west cottage tucked away 1//2 block off Duval. The best part is they take dogs so we were able to take our lab with us while we fled the hurricane. Since Key west was not crowded during our visit, the cottage was very quiet! It was central to everything, a few blocks to the water, a few blocks to all museums and several hundred feet to restaurants and bars. Much bigger than anticipated and looks just like pictures. Kitchen stocked with just basics.

This home was perfect in all areas you’d look for to stay in Key West. The home is very large, with 3 king beds, 2 bathrooms and a living room and outdoor patio for entertaining. There were plenty of towels and soap for all of my guests as well as pillows and blankets! AC is great too and very cold. The house is also located steps from Duval street as well which make it the perfect vacation house for Key West. I would recommend to everyone looking to visit! Will definitely be going back!

This place is AMAZING! It’s in an amazing location and has PLENTY of room for everyone. We had 6 adults, a 1 year in a pack and play and a puppy and there was plenty of room for everyone! They are more then accommodating with anything you could possibly need!!

We needed a 3 bedroom place. Hemmingway’s view was perfect. 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is located 1/2 block off Duval street. It is about a 10 minute walk to Mallory square. There is a shared parking area for 4 cars. This parking area is tight and preferrable to a small car. I would definitely stay there again.

We walked everywhere and only took a shuttle once to get to the national park/beach (it was free if you're considering a taxi, trolley, or ride share; just ask the property manager). We packed in the place with 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 toddler. It was cozy with all those people but we definitely felt like we had enough space. The kitchen was small with limited supplies but we are out a good bit of the time so it didn't matter much. My only complaint was the back bathroom didn't drain well. Overall, we loved the accommodations and visit to Key West.

And yet we were far enough away that there was not a lot of street/party noise. We were a group of 8 and the house had plenty of room for us not to feel crowded. This cute little house was just PERFECT for our overnight stay in Key West during our two weeks in the Keys! It easily fit our family of six plus our little Westie dog, and we felt very comfy and could have stayed all week! The back patio and yard are such a treat, like a little oasis in the midst of Key West hustle and bustle, and it is very securely fenced ALL around, so pups can explore and watch the chickens safely! ?? Furnishings, housewares, towels, etc were all just fine and everything worked as it should. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and within easy walking distance of the house. We will DEFINITELY use this company again, and probably even this house, unless we decide to try one of their other many options....based on this stay, I'd expect them ALL to be great! Oh! Parking was easy enough for our biggish SUV, except upon leaving, someone had pulled into the alley somewhat behind us for the inn next door and it took quite the maneuvering to get out. As with all of KW, be patient with the parking and you'll be fine!

Reviewer Comments: This was my birthday trip with 8 girls and we had such a good time! The house is a little bit of a walk from the main Duval St. bars but we didn't get in a car once. We even walked to Dante's. It was tucked back behind everything and private. We slept two to a room and two on the pull out sofa - however, I would definitely recommend bringing an air mattress for the pull out because it's like a cot pad... the air mattress made it okay. There's a lot of history to it, make sure to look at the stuff on the wall! Easy late check in and super easy check out - I just dropped the keys off. The master is also set in the back with a door separating it so that's nice if you would like some privacy. The back courtyard area is spacious and super cute, I wish we spent more time out there. Decently priced for what you get, I wish it were just a LITTLE cheaper.

Its even better then before, They refurnished the area with new furniture in and out of the house. The location couldn't be better, just a half block away from Duval and Truman avenue(Us1). Close enough to the party, but just far enough to enjoy a nice quiet night in Key West. If your thinking about booking this property, DONT! Just do it, you wont regret it, trust me. On a little side note, we brought a red scrub brush to the property last year because we were unaware that the patio provided everything you needed to grill, but we left it there for any future renters just in case, I'm glad to see its still there and in use :).

However, the air conditioner filters need to be serviced and the living room tables have unsteady legs. Hemmingways View was a wonderful place to stay, everything was exactly as described. It was very clean, quiet and was within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars. Our bed was made every day along with fresh towels etc. The pool was approx one block and was very relaxing. There was a total of 6 adults on our trip and it was more than enough room..The back patio was great for morning coffee and late night socializing. We grilled out fresh seafood on the grill also. Everything was in working condition. I would definitely return and would recommend this stay to anyone.

Beautiful home, fully furnished... Toaster, coffee pot and all. Great location right off Duval St. Parking only allows one small SUV, or possibly two compact cars. We rented a 6 seater golf cart/electric car that fit perfectly next to the house with an outlet to recharge right there. With renting the cart we were able to park both vehicles at the cart rental location. I highly recommend this house!

Jacuzzi was great just one issue experienced with it the jets, stop working but we had a person who is really familiar with it. So he resolved the problem, all that happened was the circuit breaker tripped and had to be reset which was no problem. Otherwise rooms were great, bathrooms great, kitchen a little awkward but use able I wouldn't call it a gourmet kitchen. Even though when we needed a larger skillet it wasn't a problem it was brought to us immediately. Which was great since we had a Professional Chef with us. Definitely would rent again and would refer to others. I have always had a great experience renting from Key West Vacation Rentals. Your company is the only company that I make my search a priority. The house was Beautiful and in the perfect location. It was so close to the action, yet just far away to hide from the hustle and noise of Duval. We looked into the house after viewing the prices of a single room hotel and saw that this entire house wasn't all that much more expensive comparatively to it. It was so nice to come home to a nice house after a hot walk up and down Duval street. I was surprised to find all the amenities in perfect order. The Jacuzzi worked great, the grill had a a propane tank as well as a full reserve on scene, everything you needed. Simply put, it was amazing.

Separate AC units in each room were appreciated as were the ceiling fans. One member of our party is very sensitive to allergens and detected mustiness to be expected in a humid beach environment but the rest of us didn't notice at all. The clean and convenient cottage was wonderful! We appreciated fresh towels daily and an early check in time at this surprisingly quiet cottage off duval.
