My husband, myself and our teenage daughter spent 3 nights here. Wonderful location on a quiet side street but very close to a lot of key attractions. The only thing I would caution is the unit is an upstairs unit and the ceiling in the shower is low. Beautiful property. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the property and the room was nicely decorated and airy. Really enjoyed our balcony as well. Within walking distance to everything. Parking was a bit of a challenge however, as there is very little free public street parking close by, but we eventually found a spot.

Papa’s Hideaway #2 was perfect for me and my husband. Secluded and tucked away, it didn’t take long to relax after our arrival. The gardens and pool are beautiful and we rarely saw any of the other guests. So much to do around the island. We rented bikes to explore all. We will be back to stay at this hideaway again soon!!!

Loved everything about this property. I loved that it was enclosed with keypad entry. The pool was a bonus!. The washer dryer and other amenities were fabulous. I was a little nervous about parking when I booked the property, but parking was not an issue. There was plenty of on street parking close by.

This is where you want to stay! Walk to breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks! This place is close to the action but off to the side where it is peaceful and tranquil.

Great spot, we stayed in unit 2 which is a studio. Perfect for a couple, awesome private yard and the best location for both a quiet area and quick access to Duval St and more. Walkable to most, We rented a golf cart and could explore the entire island from here.

We thought there was a second bed in the room but there was only a pull out sofa bed which was a bit of a surprise as we saw that the other room adjacent to us had 2 beds as well as the one downstairs. That is the only thing I would say needs to be updated on the listing, clarity on the sleeping arrangements.
But other then that I would definitely come back, if you have a large family gathering there are a bunch of other self contained rooms and it felt like it would be an amazing venue.

Best Air BNB Stay we’ve had.
Location was absolutely perfect. We like to walk and this was central to everything while also giving us some peace and quiet. The private pool is perfect, the room is great and came with everything we needed (being able to throw a loaf of laundry in right before we left meant no extra work when we got home - great perk!).
Would definitely recommend. We went as a couple on a babymoon, but will hopefully come back to rent up all of the rooms for a big friends trip someday.

This location is perfect! So close to Duval Street but you won’t hear any of the noise. Truly a private treasure close to everything, but in it’s own private luxurious “compound”. The bed is so comfy, and the deck offers you a view of the well planted tropical yard, while giving you all the privacy you need. You can swim in the private pool, and at night relax and enjoy stargazing. Lovely

This property has a safe, secluded tropical environment at the center of a vibrant, walkable area of Key West. The property is behind a locked gate, with luscious palm trees as your welcome. The studio apartment was perfect for a romantic escape. The location was perfect…able to easily walk to landmarks, restaurants, stores, and nightlife. We highly recommend. (Pool was out of service but property management did a great job of letting us know before our visit…which was very much appreciated).

The location was close to Duvall and the sights, but on a quiet side street. It was also just a block away from a bus stop for the free loop shuttle. It had a semienclosed private patio. The pool area was lush and private. The room itself was clean and comfortable.

Condo is just a walk down the side walk to ski down to the base. Condo has a great kitchen and common area. Owner very responsive. They even give you quarters for the laundry and plenty of detergent. Would stay here again.

After checking out what felt like hundreds of accommodations I was so happy to find this one. Spacious self catering room with balcony, pool, patio and laundry facilities. Everything we needed was in walking distance and free parking outside. Definitely recommend.

Spectacular jungle oasis! Perfect for our family. We were able to sit in our upstairs deck while the babies napped. Walking distance to the beach and perfect courtyard with pool and outdoor shower. Highly recommend! Bring an eye mask for sleeping... the A/C unit in the room gives off a blue light that cannot be turned off.

You probably can't get any closer to the action on Duval while also feeling like you're in your own, secluded little paradise. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped with lots of seating areas in the sun and shade. The patios on my unit, Papa's Hideaway #3, is like an extra room. There's always a great breeze and the view into the courtyard was lovely. The room is big enough to feel at home. The little kitchen is so well-equipped you have everything you need. If you're staying in Key West very long, eating out becomes expensive and exhausting, so the kitchen is perfect. The cleaning staff are efficient and friendly. The shuttle service back and forth to the airport was an added bonus. I stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every minute.

The place is amazing, good room with kitchenette and bathroom and great patio with swimming pool to share with other travelers. Although the price is a bit high it's worthy to spend a night or two here.

Everyone there was helpful from setting up our airport pick up and drop off to helping us rent our bikes. They were always very responsive. The housekeeper was wonderful. The room was always very clean and they responded quickly to any minor requests we had. We loved the Southernmost restaurants and beach and how easy it was to ride our bikes everywhere! We loved all Sunset Water Tours we took including the evening sunset sail and the full day 14 activities tour. We enjoyed the Danger half day snorkeling and kayaking tour we took and the 2 hour jet ski ride around the island. All of it was great fun and easy to get to from our location. We'd love to return there and rent out the whole place with a group.

It was very quiet and secluded. Being down a dead end road really made it nice and no hassle parking!! The room was clean and spacious. We had an excellent lady that came daily to clean up (we were in a hurry one morning and left dishes, she did our dishes for us!) I wish I would have got her name. The kitchen was perfect for us and there was a grill right down stairs with gas! We had an issue with the breaker tripping on one outlet and they came out right away (it was around 10:30pm). The balcony with the table made it enjoyable for my family and I to have our meals there together! It was so close to everything that we found ourselves forgetting things and it not even being a hassle swinging by to grad it. We would stay again!

The room was clean and comfortable, but we felt that the daily cleaning could have been a bit more thorough. It would also have been helpful with some more utensils for cooking. For instance there was only one cutting knife of pretty poor quality, and there was no cutting board. The balcony was very nice and secluded, and the garden with the pool was quiet and calm. Situated very close to the Southern Most Point it is a bit of a walk to Malory Square and the nightlife on Duval Street, which suited us fine as it was very peaceful. We rented bikes to get around easily, and that was money well spent. All in all we had a great stay at Papa's Hideaway, and we would definitely rent here again.

Our efficiency was perfect for the two of us and even though there are 4 other units on the property it was very quiet and private when needed. The unit had everything we needed and the housekeeping staff was great. We interacted at the pool with other guests and everyone was very pleasant and laid back. The common area is absolutely beautiful and feels like you are not a block off Duvall and almost in site of the Southern Most Point. We shared the property with 5 iguanas including one huge one, but they left us alone. The property is not close to the heart of the tourist area so it's a walk to most things but it helps to burn off the great food and beverages.
