Great place. The outdoor space was awesome but is shared. We had the lower level ‘luxe studio’ with two beds- so had to deal with noise of upstairs tenants walking around in the morning and night. That would be my only complaint that I wasn’t expecting. Overall great place. Would definitely stay again !

The location is beyond perfect. It's walkable but also tucked away, quiet, and private. It felt like an oasis in every way and we enjoyed it immensely.
The pool and courtyard couldn't have been cuter. Having extra space to stretch out to the hammock and deck was a bonus as well. Parking was also convenient along the fence line outside the door.
The fridge wasn't working on day one but they were responsive and got it fixed first thing the following morning.

The location and vibe of this property was perfect for our short getaway. We walked most places because the weather was so nice, but we did grab a few bikes to make our way to the beach and cruise around the island one of the days. Our host was incredibly responsive, offered to let us drop our bags at the rental office while we waited for our unit to be check-in ready. The unit itself was perfect, we only saw our neighbors once and never heard them any other times during our stay.

Visited after Hurricane Ian and wasn’t sure what to expect. Our initial rental had been flooded so they found a comparable unit not far. It wasn’t as nice but they refunded some money and we were happy. Then I asked about the pool and the original place had a opening for the rest of our time but on second story so they offered that to us. Exceptional service, you won’t be disappointed. Both places were clean and excellent location.

We loved everything about Papa's Hideaway, the ease of no hassle check-in and check-out ( we really hated to leave) was so great. The place was so clean and furnished nicely, we had every accommodation needed. The courtyard and pool area really made us feel like we were in a tropical paradise. We were literally 5 to 10 minutes away from all the major attractions, we recommend this place to anyone visiting Key West.

Super location! We were never in Key West before and thankfully this place worked out spectacularly! Right on the corner of Whitehead and Louisa about 1/4 mile from the southern most tip and the giant “bouey”. Easy to get anywhere via foot. Also the pool area is fantastic and you feel like you really are on your own little island. Our room furniture had been changed from one queen and a small living room setup to two queens so the pix are a little different unless they update them. Not really a big deal but just letting folks know. The management team is super responsive and professional. Definite recommendation for anyone planning a visit to Key West!

Wonderful property, just off Duval Street on a quiet dead end Street. Locked gate, private pool, free laundry. Loved the private patio area. Room was clean and spacious with all the necessities. Beautiful landscaping, it was the perfect paradise getaway.

Great experience. Would definitely stay here again. It was a very clean place. Vacasa was great with communication, checkin was easy, and the location was perfect. It was a nice quiet and secluded place to come back to after a day of adventures.
Two very small cons. As other reviews have said, you can hear the footsteps of people above you. But that’s typical of any bottom floor condo. Also the wifi wasn’t very good, but that didn’t matter because we weren’t in the room at all.
Again, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a couples romantic get away! Room offered everything we needed! Location was perfect. Just off Duval street and nestled in between Hemingway house and Southern Most Point.
We would definitely book this property again.
Only complaint that I had was we were ground floor and the couple above us walked very heavy late at night and early morning.
So if possible book the upstairs!

Papa’s Hideaway is just far enough and just close enough to Duval Street the pool was perfect the room had everything we needed shower was a little small and I wish there was an earlier check-in but overall I could see renting the whole place for a group trip. Having a kitchen is a great thing! I’d stay again ♥️

Really nice spot ,nestled in a corner in the heart of Key West.. Walking distance to Duval St , The Southernmost Point and the Hemmingway House.. My 1 yr old son loved the pool and my wife and I had amazing time. The Vacasa staff were friendly, helpful and responsive..We're definitely coming back ! ☆☆☆☆☆

Having booked vacations in the Keys before, I was a little hesitant to pull the trigger on a 0 bedroom. I am so glad I did. The place was perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids. Location was amazing! Perfect for a quiet yet fun filled family vacation. Will definitely visit again in 2021.

Great little spot for a Key West vacation. The property is in a great spot for walking- close to the beach and the restaurants, shops & bars on Duval. The space was clean and the check in process was simple. The only issue we had was that one of the guests in another room had a big group of friends over to the pool a few times and had a dog so we didn’t really have a chance to enjoy the pool area as much as we’d have liked to. Other than that, it was a great stay!

One block off Duval (the quiet end) but as soon as you step behind the garden gate it's a quiet oasis. We were on the bottom unit closest to pool and it was great. The layout gives sufficient privacy, and the two-bedroom home looks awesome.

Really enjoyed staying here. It’s close to Duval and the Southernmost Point and lots of good restaurants and bars. Our room was quiet and comfortable for the two of us. There was plenty of parking on the street. We took the car out for Day trips a couple of times and always found parking upon our return. The pool area and grounds were nice and clean. We look forward to staying here again.

We loved this place. Group of 8. We stayed in 2 bed cottage and one of the efficiencies. Yard is fenced and beautifully landscaped. Lots of private areas to just relax. Pool was great. Really quiet - super easy walk to southern most point, lighthouse, and hemmingway house. Moderate walk to Duval St and Mallory Square. Had excellent meals at 915, Blue Heaven. Drinks at Sloppy Joes along with Sloppy Joe nachos! A fun fun night at Aqua - drag show - no cover, and performers were fantastic! Vacasa staff were so accommodating and professional. Can't say enough great things - and we can't wait to come back!!

Close to the beaches yet easy access to bars and restaurants. Quite neighborhood. Room was clean and exactly as pictured and provided all that we needed for our four day stay. If I were to go back I might select one of the other rooms on an upper level or with a front porch. The front door to our unit was a sliding glass door which could not be locked from the outside so there was a fence put around the patio area with a locking door for security. However, having the patio fenced in blocked the beautiful landscaping of the property and the sunlight. The grounds are absolutely stunning. The pool is a dream, heated in the winter and perfect for night time swims.

She really enjoys walking over to the public pool and swimming laps and walking on the beaches early in the morning. I rented a bike and rode all over. The Rental was clean, comfortable and charming. There was one issue, the washing machines were not working but I am sure they will be fixed for future use. :-) We shall return next year.

The unit was a little small but fit our needs just fine. The property management company was very professional and the staff was at the property each day cleaning the grounds and providing fresh towels for the pool. Check-in and check-out were seamless, the shuttle service from/to the airport was timely and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The only downside, and this is not a deal breaker, is that mid-trip a rowdy crew of drinkers checked in and kind of took over the pool area (loud music, beer pong, late nights) which is fine - it is a party town, but it was definitely nicer when we could relax in the pool without them.

While trying to work out this problem, two other parties were standing around with the same problem. Somebody needs to grow a few IQ points and get this problem solved right now. For this reason I would not recommend anyone book with Vacation Rentals. Those people were very nice once we made contact however.

The check-in instructions are clearly stated in the confirmation email we send out to guests who book at Papa's Hideaway. The check in office is located a few blocks away at 1075 Duval St Suite #C22. When the property managers came to the property to assist you with checking in, there were not any other parties there with that problem whatsoever.

The staff was very friendly and willing to answer my questions and help me out when I needed to print e-tickets for our tourist attractions. Their website was simple to understand and follow. Our rental was Papa's Hideaway which definitely made you feel as if you were hid away in a tropical setting. We were so pleased with the property that we will probably request Papa's Hideaway in our future visits to Key West, it is very convenient to Duvall Street which is where all the action is, yet you felt very secluded. The other renters were pleasant and quiet as well.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. We had cocktail hour by the pool with the other guests each evening. The service staff was very nice and helpful, although they did not speak much English and we had a slight communication problem. We did see a few tiny ants in the kitchen one day, but we kept all opened food in the frig after that and they didn't appear again. This is not your typical luxury rental, but it is very peaceful and we will definitely be back.

The property has a lovely garden and pool area, with lounge chairs and tables, that are shared by two houses that each have several units. The entirity is enclosed by a tall wooden fence, so you feel like you enter your private oasis when you key into the gate. The room was clean and large enough, the pull out couch comfortable for sleeping. Wifi was easy to access from the room and pool area. The only negative was a slight musty smell in the room, but it wasn't such that it detracted from our enjoyment of the property. Management was very professional, it was easy to obtain and drop off the keys.
