MA106 - Dockside

Great location. Nice dock set up. Hose leaks so you get wet when using it! lolBe nice if renter could use outside freezer for ice and bait. Had a huge pad lock on it. Don’t know if ice maker under house works but that would be a nice feature as well. A/C was great, house stayed cool on 76!New toilet lids that don’t slam would be great. I dropped the seat and it was loud! lolKitchen set up nice and the porch was great. All the bait shops, grocery and gift stores were close so that’s nice. Really enjoyed it

Pool maintained while there. Perfect. Very clean but to give 5 stars I would suggest changing both bathroom shower liners and hall bath curtain rod. (Rusted and fell in middle of nite 3x. And outdoor chair pads need to be replaced. Loved being on the water and being able to see the open water. It was really a great place that needed minor fixes. I think the fan in hall bath is on its last leg. Also outdoor shade turn handle is totally rusted and sharp on bottom.

We had an amazing stay at Dockside. We could not have asked for a better place to relax and unwind from our hectic lives. The pool was a great way to end the day. We loved being able to jump on our boat and head out for the day for fishing and snorkeling. The location was perfect, close to anywhere you needed to go. I highly recommend Dockside for your vacation. We will be back.

We had a great time during our week long stay at dockside. We loved the location (very close to Sweet Savannah's for multiple ice cream trips), the pool, and the views. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were a little firm for our preference, and we understand the need for cameras but it seemed like the camera on the upstairs deck might have been able to see into the living room which made us a little uncomfortable. Overall a great stay and would recommend

this neat well laid out 2-bedroom house has the feel of a chalet about it; it was perfect for what we wanted as a couplebut it wasn’t as well-equipped as we might have expected; for example, there were only four mugs for coffee / tea and only two wine glasses!ignoring this small issue, the upstairs veranda was great for sitting out – for enjoying meals or just reading a book – while the pool area downstairs had plenty of space for lounging in the sun or sitting in the shadethe house is so well located, for Marathon itself and for Islamorada and Key Largo to the north or Key West to the south; there are numerous excellent beaches and State Parks within minutes (literally!) of the house – as well as other interesting places such as Crane Point and 7-mile Bridge: so much to do!we thoroughly enjoyed our 12-day stay at this house in Marathon: would we go back? very definitely!

Great place! Fit our 21ft boat perfectly with shore power, fresh water available, filet table on dock, and rubber guards on pilings so we didn’t even have to use our fenders. Canal and inlet was the ONLY one clearly marked with channel markers making it so much safer to get in and out to the ocean. Accommodated 2 trucks and a trailer. Close to EVERYTHING, and only an hour from Key West. Kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to make meals, great washer and dryer. Quiet neighborhood in safe location. We had 4 adults and it was the perfect size. Pool is small, but again perfect for 4. Views were beautiful. Would 100% stay again.

Absolutely a Beautiful home...from the pool outside to the trip up the stairs to the inside. It felt like our own little tropical paradise...the home was spotless and had everything you could possibly need to feel right at home...including some really good restaurants nearby. The canal the home is on is so much fun, all the neighbors were so nice and there was always something going on, from fishing, to boating, to chilling to some music...we also had many visits from the local manatees, so bring your lettuce, they loved it... all in all this place made our vacay so much more relaxing and enjoyable...Thumbs Up for sure!!

This house is exactly as pictured; quaint, clean and nicely decorated. Sitting out on the deck area was incredibly relaxing. The palms just reaching high enough to offer a little privacy while the breeze offers a lulling sound. The pool and landscape provides a little oasis to catch some sun and cool down. Inside, the furnishings are welcoming and comfortable. Kitchen and bathrooms offered all that you need including basics like paper goods and soap, very convenient. Highly recommend this house for a small family or couples get away. Worth a note if you are bringing a boat, the channel out to open water is shallow and is tricky at and near low tide.

Beautiful stay at Dockside, nice ocean view and clean fully stocked house. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and when we discovered the heater wasn't working, communication was quick and someone came out to adjust. Met the owner who was so warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again when in the Keys!

House was great. Matched the pictures and great view of ocean from the deck. House was very cozy and being on the canal was great. Plenty of space and house was well stocked. We have used VRBO in the past and this house ranks right up with our other rentals.

From arrival to departure we loved our time at Dockside. Very quiet neighbourhood but close enough to shops and restaurants.
An easy drive from Miami airport and a great location to visit Key West.
We went to Sombrero Beach a few times, please note that visitors now have to pay to park. $$5 dollars per hour for the first 2 hours and $2 dollars per hour after that.
We were grateful of the beach chairs that we could use. There was also a parasol (that we didn’t use) and some pool floats.
We would definitely stay at Dockside again if we were visiting the area and would recommend the property to anyone.
The only slightly negative thing I would like to mention is that there were two bicycles but the tyres were flat and there was no pump (that we could find) I’m sure if I’d reached out to Vacasa it would have been sorted but it would also have been nice if there was a pump there so I didn’t have to.

This property is fabulous. You can tell the owners really take great care over this property. The home is tastefully and perfectly decorated with very nice furniture and coastal decor. The kitchen is very well equipped and overall, the home is completed with very nice fixtures & finishes. The outdoors is just wonderful. The landscaping in and around the pool and the decks is beautiful and a great combination of date, coconut, and non-fruit palm trees, palm bushes, and trees to create a real sense of privacy and luxury around the pool. We brought our boat (20ft), and the dock was perfect. Do yourself a favor, looking for a vacation home in Marathon...look no further!

My wife and I are expecting our first child in August. We wanted to have a last vacation, just the two of us. This house was perfect for us, and right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go in the Keys! Would definitely stay here again!

This was a great stay! The property and house are well kept along with the pool. It has it all. The neighborhood is clean and quiet. Ample parking room for multiple vehicles. For the boaters, this is a great location with easy access in and out of the canal. I would say that there is enough parking room easily for a 28-30' boat trailer. However, note that the owners have their boat on a lift and it takes up a good portion of the dock length. I would estimate enough room for another 23-26' boat to fit at dock. There are plenty of restaurants near by and you can't go wrong with any of them. Overall this is a fantastic location and we will be staying again!

Dockside in Marathon Florida was beautiful! The place was immaculately clean, roomy and comfortable. The deck, pool and patio were beautiful and comfortable too. Appliances all seemed new and worked perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet when we stayed but there were lots of lively places to visit nearby. This was really a nice place and we enjoyed our stay there!

Fully stocked, view is incredible, and lots of sun. Large deck around the house with lots of seating. Would be nice to have kayaks and a cooler. Place was spotless - incredibly clean.

The place was spotless when we arrived. Location was great and things were just the way they appeared online. One insignificant item I am am only mentioning because we saw it as a positive. The bifold door slipped off its track while we were unpacking. We weren’t able to fix it so we simply placed it inside the closet and contacted vacasa. They wanted to send someone immediately to ensure our satisfaction. If you own a home yo know things can happen. It’s nice to know that if something should come up, the owner and management company take a great deal of pride if having the best product possible to ensure a great vacation.

Absolutely loved this property! The view can’t be beat and the house was so cozy and clean. The pool was so great after a day on the water. I have to also say the beds were super comfortable, which isn’t common with rentals. Definitely recommend this property for a week!

The property was exactly as advertised. What minor issue we encountered (pool side furniture failure) was replaced in a reasonable time given the holiday (July 4th). Easy boating access to the Atlantic or Gulf side. Very comfortable and clean.

Best place ever! Easy access to the ocean and fun in the pool after a full day in the sun! House is quaint and the view is great at any time of the day. Definitely will be back next year!

This is a great property. I have to admit that I was a bit concerned about it having no reviews before I booked it because I typically rely on reviews of others as much as the listing description and pictures.
The heated pool and deck as well as the views highlighted the outdoor space. The indoor space was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this property.

WOW - that’s how I can describe this Marathon house in one word! This was our first visit to the keys and this place left a lasting impression. House was impeccably clean, the pool was private, the 45’ dock was a few feet from open waters, a smart tv with Comcast cable. There was plenty of outdoor furniture and it is in great shape. AC is fantastic and there are ceiling fans throughout the inside and outside of the house. I could not be more pleased with our stay and highly recommend this. Two grocery stores are less than 1.8 miles down the road. Restaurants are plentiful and some within walking distances. Ample USB ports located around the house (both bedrooms and living room) plus an iWatch/Phone/earbud charging station in the master suite. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. Trash pickup was twice a week. The Marathon Key is centrally situated in this archipelago making travel to John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and Key West fantastic day trips.
