MA121 - Jewel of Marathon

The house was beautiful and so well kept. Everything was perfect, from the accommodations to the well stocked kitchen. It is evident that the owners take pride in their home. We loved the history found all around the house.

House was extremely well appointed. Convenient to shopping (5 min drive) and walking to Sombrero Beach (10 min walk). Very quiet location at the end of the street. Always something to watch in Sisters River at the Boot Key side of the house. Water view looks at Boot Key wildlife and mangroves. Great sunsets. Neighborhood is great for biking and walking...very little traffic since the entire neighborhood is a dead end street. Would definitely rent again.

The place was super clean and beautiful. Cleaning team did a wonderful job with cute little touches like the kitchen towels tied in bows. Easy to get a hold of the property manager and he was very accommodating. Outside was an oasis. Fishing was also great as we caught several keeper mangroves and many different varieties of fish. Would definitely recommend.

Loved the open floor plan with great views of water and sunset. Excellent outdoor space on second floor. Weather was too cool to enjoy the water access but easy walk to pretty Sombrero Beach.

Great location . We stayed there before and really appreciated the extra bed and bath downstairs. It’s not longer available and that’s a big drawback!

We were absolutely thrilled with this property. My husband loved that he could put his rental boat in the slip. I loved the outdoor, enclosed porch with a stunning sunset view. The walk to one of Florida's premier beaches is so quick and direct. From the yard we saw manatees, fish and even an eel. The only downside is that the location is not easily swimmable and there isn't a pool but with the beach so close, it was not a problem.

Loved the bay, great fishing. Caught some grouper out back. Overall the house itself was beautiful. Would definitely stay again. Only slight downside was no fishing poles or kayak paddle but not a big deal at all.

We had an excellent stay at the Jewel of Marathon! Definitely a jewel, excellent location just a few minute walk to Sombrero Beach, close to tons of great restaurants and the 7 mile bridge! The layout of the house was fantastic for 2 couples or a family with a great screened porch, outdoor area with a great view and manatees in the mangroves. The kitchen was well stocked and great to have beach chairs to use too. We had a fantastic time and hope to return to this jewel! Thank you!!!

Great location for boating, kayaking, biking, beaching. House and property are designed very well to take advantage of the water and views. Vacasa was very helpful when we had a couple of minor issues.

We had an excellent Stay at the Jewel of Marathon. We rented a boat for our stay and was able to park it at this home. The location of this home was fantastic. Close to everything we wanted both on land and by by boat.
