we had a wonderful stay there. a nice private road you walk down and there's sombrero Beach right there. but not at the beach we did a little bit of fishing was able to watch the sunset and get awesome pictures. The place was totally awesome

This house was perfect for two couples. It is in a great location. It is literally a 5 minute walk to Sombrero Beach. Less than a hour from Key West. The pool was great. Communication was great. We really enjoyed our week here and would stay again.

Very clean, but we had a bit of trouble getting in, the lock just feels kind of old. But the home was incredibly clean with more amenities than we were aware of. It was serene and quiet and very private. They had everything we needed and then some when it came to how well stocked the home was. My only true concern was my 60 year old mother who has knee issues struggled with getting up the 15 or so steps it took to get to the front door. My family lives in a two story home and these were a bit steeper and we were unaware they would be there at all. She managed ok, just something to be aware of. But we had a wonderful time and would absolutely book again.

beautiful house..very clean. Loved watching the manatees in the channel. The pool and spa was wonderful. The only reason for not giving it a full 5, is because of the tidal sand bar at the entrance of the channel. At low tide, you can not get a boat with a 10" draft, into it. My husband's, boat got stuck and he had to leave it,until the tide started to come, back in. I would rent this house again . loved it.

Just wasn’t happy with my husband fishing off the dock and light from the neighbors dock pointed right into you face. The king side bed was bad. The queen bed was good, but the vent over head was horrible to sleep with directly in your face. Otherwise the kitchen was amazing well stocked. Great outdoor space. When we had problems they took care of it right away.

We loved the house and being in the middle keys. It made day trips to other keys easy. Housekeeping did show up a few minutes before 10am (check out). They sat in the car in the driveway and stared at us while we packed the car. It was incredibly awkward. I don’t count this against the owner or how great the stay was, but I do think it is something to bring up to the company coming to clean the houses.

This was a great location for our 18’ boat. It would not work for boats with a deep hull as it’s very shallow. We got stuck during low tide trying to get out fishing. Depth was 1’ during low tide. The house was good overall. I wish there was an option for heating the pool. We had a cold front move in and it was to cold to use the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our honeymoon week at this beautiful home in Marathon. Lots of things to do in Marathon. Highly recommend booking through this host as they were extremely responsive with any issues or questions we had. We will be back!

Perfect house for our family of four. Situated on a canal and backyard patio and pool feels private and isolated. We used the 2 kayaks everyday. Beautiful views of ocean and sunset. Five minute walk to Sombrero beach. No TV on patio like in picture and the master king mattress extremely uncomfortable (queen in spare room softer). First time to the Keys and we will be back!

This was our first visit to the Keys we were not disappointed. We came to fish and enjoy the beautiful weather, both were beyond our expectations!! Definitely will be coming back. The house we rented was perfect, the location was on point. Every morning we were able to fish right from our own private dock. Swim in the afternoons in the private pool, there was a grocery store just a few minutes from the house. Can’t wait to come back!!

This is a beautiful vacation home in a great location at the end of a canal, a short drive from Sombrero Beach. You can see the beach from the kitchen windows, and I'll add that this is my favorite beach in all of the Keys! The kitchen was large and updated with great appliances and an enormous granite island. It came stocked with enough trash bags, toilet tissue, paper towels, bath products, and dish detergent to last us the whole week. The floor of the patio area is peeling and takes away from the beauty of it, but did nice nice outdoor furniture. The canal was deep enough for us to dock a boat there with no problems. Definitely would recommend staying here!

This was a perfect location and we enjoyed our vacation. Only issue was getting boat in and out of shallow waters leading into home. Close to beach and everything else!

My new husband and I got married on this property. The home is beautifully laid out to accommodate a wedding. Our guests did not feel confined and the home was perfectly situated for access to the Gulf and Atlantic! My husband caught 2 tarpon right from the backyard! We will be back on our anniversary! Vacasa handled our stay with class and the utmost accommodations because another home we booked became unavailable at the last minute and they offered us this beautiful upgrade to ensure the wedding went off without a hitch! I am most appreciative of ALL the staff at Vacasa who handled this, especially Sarah W. She checked back in with me to make sure everything was booked and confirmed. Sarah W. even checked in with me the day before we left. I so very grateful for the Vacasa team who made me stress less in the middle of our most important day! Thank you Vacasa! I will definitely rent a home with you in the future! ❤️❤️❤️

We found the treasure! This home was beautiful and exceeded our expectations. I love how the home is built up, the view of the canal and ocean were unobstructed. The home was very clean and well stocked from cleaning supplies, basic cooking condiments, cookware, to towels and linens. We saw a manatee swim by while we ate breakfast at the dining table. My son loved visiting the crabs who lived under the home. The pool was very refreshing on those hot days after walking home from the beach. Sombrero Beach is a 5 minute walk. We played catch in the over large driveway. Every window in the home has an ocean view. I was very impressed with the channel selection on the tv. We watched shark documentaries every night while watching the sunset. Can’t wait to come back! We loved this home and I know you will too!
