MA171 - Lime in the Coconut

Had a great time at lime in the coconut! Fantastic location, we had our boat here for easy access right on the water. Lots of amenities on-site, well organized, updated and clean. The ice maker and deep freezer couldn’t have been better for both keeping drinks cool and icing fish.

Beautiful, central location! We loved the canal front with view to the Atlantic Ocean. Kayak availability and all the essentials needed for activities, fishing, hot tub, swing in the sunrise. Vacasa and house manager were great and easy to get a hold of for anything we needed or had questions about. Would recommend this home to anyone! Marathon is the perfect key to stay. Central to everything!

We spent the entire month of January at this property and were thoroughly impressed. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, including soap, shampoo, detergent, dishes, pool towels, linens, and more. The cleanliness of the house was also commendable. It was well-insulated from sound, even during incredibly windy days. The room darkening shades in the master bedroom were a great addition. The jacuzzi was a delightful treat after kayaking in the canal using kayaks provided for us. They also have a trash service that takes the garbage and recycling out to the curb and returns it after pickup. We met the landscaper and pest control during our stay and were impressed with their thoroughness. We do wish we could have figured out how to turn off the motion sensor lights. On windy days, they were on constantly, day and night, lighting up the guest room. Despite this minor inconvenience, we would love to return to this house in the future.

We had a great stay at Lime in the Coconut in Marathon. The house is perfectly located on a canal, which was ideal for boating. We loved watching the manatees that came up to the dock every day. The neighbor across the canal was very helpful and shared useful tips for getting around by boat. The only minor challenge was parking our 27 ft boat trailer — it was a tight fit, and we had to walk it in under the carport — but it worked out fine. Overall, a great spot, and we’re already planning to come back next year.

The home was in a great location in Marathon. We easily drove to excursions, coffee shop and grocery store. The house is near the entrance of the canal and provided kayaks for an easy paddle out to the ocean. Clean, quiet, and comfortable! Rocking chairs on the deck were my daily am destination with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. We enjoyed evenings in the hot tub and cooking on the gas grill. Great place to spend a week!

We had a great stay at Lime in the Coconut! House was super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. Location was perfect, with easy access to the house and canal by boat. Definitely recommend speaking to the neighbor across the canal for “insider tips” about everything from navigating the cut to popular local restaurants. It was a bit tight making the turn to park our boat trailer under the house, but we were able to walk it in and back out again with little difficulty. We will definitely look to book Lime in the Coconut again for our next trip to Marathon!

Beautiful unit, beautiful view of the ocean, had manatees come right up to the dock. Good location, short drive to Sombrero Beach and Publix. Almost all appliances and equipment seemed new. Super clean. Kayaks were great.

The location was perfect , right by sea . The house was recently renovated with modern touches and a decor that showed great taste . You could go from doing a BBQ , to relax with a view , to spending time in the open jacuzzi . Everything was clean and updated . Would certainly return

What a great place. Clean and open property. Clean and everything you would need. Million dollar view from the balcony and great dock. We kept boat all week and it was great access. House even has ice maker which is a major plus. Get neighbors ( great neighbors) advise on navigating the channel as it is definitely a need to know as gets shallow going through. Don’t hesitate booking this property

Had a wonderful stay. Kids loved kayaking, we saw dolphins, manatees swam up to our dock, and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down at the end of the day.

Our family of 4 found this house to be perfect. Perfect size, great location. Bright, clean and newly renovated. Great attention to detail. The house had everything we needed and more.

Check-in was a little slow, since we never received instructions with the code to open the lockbox and Vacasa was difficult to get in touch with (could have been because it was a weekend). Once we were in though, it was perfect for what we were looking for. It was centrally located, super clean, and well stocked. We would stay again if we’re back in the area!

We wanted to spend a week in the Keys but were not sure where as we knew that we wanted to visit various Keys and activities. This house was a great fit and good place to travel out to Islamorada, Bahia Honda and even Key West. We would definitely stay again if we plan a future trip to the Keys. While we were only 5 there was ample sleeping to accommodate even more - from the king bed in the master, queen in the guest bedroom with a pullout and even a pullout bed in the main room.
