MA60 - Magic in Marathon

The location of this house is perfect! We had access to the Atlantic and Gulf Coast waters within minutes of the canal. It is also located near various stores including Publix, Home Depot, bait shops, restaurants, and a few fun shops for clothes and other items. The dock was large, cleaning station, pool, outside tiki areas, and use of the kayaks all made it very enjoyable. The house could use some updating but it didn’t interfere with our stay. Large bedrooms and an open living/dining area. The back porch was relaxing too. The one recommendation we have is to upgrade the glasses and serving dishes, offer a few more kitchen hand towels and provide some initial use of cleaning products like hand and dish soap, sponge, and laundry detergent. Typically in houses we’ve rented there were at least some of these products to offer. We had to purchase all of these for our stay. Overall, it was a great week in Marathon.

My family and I stay in Marathon every year for vacation.This was by far the best house we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the dishes you could need, the amount of towels, the cleanliness of the home was wonderful. The family of manatees living in the canal was wonderful to watch every day. We absolutely loved our stay!

This is a beautiful home and was perfect for our family vacation. It was comfortable and looked like the pictures with a great pool/outdoor area. The location was great for boating and fishing, quick and easy access from the dock to the Atlanta. There were good restaurants to try and fun activities close for the kids. The Host gave us all the information we needed for easy check in and out. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time during our stay. local beaches offered up great snorkeling and beach combing. The pool area along with the tiki huts created a nice little private oasis for the kids and grandkids enjoy. Plenty of sun throughout the day, but ample shade if needed. the location is perfectly centralized for the Keys, so travel in either direction for an hour or less afforded multiple tourists type attractions. We would highly recommend your place to our friends and family.

The open layout of living space was great for six people. Ample seating in living room, dinning and screened in porch. The pool, outdoor seating, water fountain were enjoyed by all. Home was clean and well equipped in kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms. Hate to leave.

Pics are accurate, great for pets! Decor is a little dated, but let that deter you! The house was very clean, and had everything you need down to beach towels! I will book this property again!

We stayed at this property while we were in town for my wedding! Overall, the property was wonderful. The space inside and the space outside were amazing! While things were not completely updated, you could tell the owners put in a lot of work to make the property home-y! The property being pet friendly was also a huge plus for us! We truly loved it and the vacasa team were super helpful with all our questions. We can’t wait to come back!

The location is probably the best you can get on Marathon. Fast access to the Atlantic by sea and fast access to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurant's, etc. by land. As some of the other reviews stated the place could use a bit of updating but overall it is very good, this is the Keys after all. It has what you need for a great fishing or diving stay. Bait freezer downstairs, nice pool and patio area and plenty of dockage. We will book here again.

We were happy with it. The kitchen was equipped with what we needed to cook and everything worked as expected. The back yard is spacious and the palms are beautiful. The water access is also amazing. In a matter of minutes you can get to blue water or catch the sunset.

Great location! Beautiful views. Would definitely recommend. If stairs are hard for you, you may want to reconsider as there is no bathroom downstairs. It was clean and comfortable. Stores are close by. There is an airport near by so the sounds of planes was pretty much daily

We enjoyed our recent stay at Magic at Marathon. The house was as pictured and we enjoyed having the private pool. The location was good but the neighborhood looks as though it’s under a lot of construction right now. While we didn’t encounter any major issues we did notice that the toilets were very slow to drain and the sliding glass door was difficult to lock. We did encounter ants in the kitchen during our stay but it seemed like a ongoing issue as we found bug spray under the kitchen cabinets. No fault of the host, but the neighbors decided to play very loud music way after quiet hours multiple nights in a row. Overall we had a good time and would stay here again in the future.

Large and spacious house. The pool is a huge plus. The outdoor pool and patio area was so nice. We saw a manatee and enjoyed watching the boats go by while fishing and cooking our dinner on the outdoor grill.

Property was very clean. Pool, tiki huts, and back area was very nice. It was just as in the pics. I would make a suggestion to have a tv in each bedroom. I also would suggest better quality mattresses. More pans for the oven. And the wine rack did not get cold.

We had a wonderful week in the Keys. Magic in Marathon was everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool and backyard. The manatees were always in the canal hanging out. We spent time visiting in friends in Big Pine Key which was just a quick 15-20 minute ride south. Neighborhood was super quiet.

We go to fish, and serious about it. While the channel could be better marked, after first arriving, it was no issue. The house was clean and comfy, the pool was perfect. I'd recommend this property to anyone who can climb stairs. A lockable rod locker/closet would be great, but my calves are in great shape from carting equipment upstairs.

House is fully equipt. Has plenty of towels, (even beach towels) kitchen equipment, great quiet AC. Fish cleaning table with hoses and lights. Bait freezer, great boat docking, but be aware the hurricane has filled in the 1/2 mile long channel to only 1 1/2 feet at low tide. Manatee's almost daily in the channel. I've stayed for a month for the last two years, bringing down young grandchildren for a week at a time, the pool is super for kids. There's a big playground at the end of the block and a Dunkin doughnuts a block farther. Price for this rental is lower than most other nearby houses, a very good value.

Great space and great price! Large kitchen and living area! Bedrooms were all well appointed. The backyard pool and tiki areas were wonderful, plenty of shady spaces from the afternoon sun. We will definitely rent again!

Very clean and complete holiday house. All you need for a perfect holiday. Large house with all facilities (airco, large kitchen, smart tv etc.) Large and well maintained backyard with a lovely swimming pool. Great views on the channel, spotted manatees twice in a week time. Highly recommended!!

The house was amazing, lots of space and perfect for the family. Pool could be cleaner, even after they came by to clean it. Other than that it was beautiful. Close to the ocean, groceries and plenty to do.

We had the most amazing time for a family get-together and birthday. This place is perfect, location short drive to great beaches, restaurants and grocery store. Screened in porch is lovely; pool, dock and Tiki huts our favorite place to hang out. Saw manitees in the canal, caught a beracuda, paddleboarded, kayaked all off the dock. Next time we'll rent a boat!! Common living area and kitchen nice, bright, updated and open. Highly recommend staying here.

The people of the keys are so positive. Lots of work to be done. My son attended a week long program at the dolphin research center and I can’t say enough about the people and the place. The turtle hospital the same thing. The place is a mess with us coming down it’ll help with the stores,restaurants,resorts and homes and maybe the positive vibes from the people of the keys will attach itself to the rest of us. PEACFUL EASY FEELINGS.. thank you I need that. The house was clean the grounds are coming alive. The fish are jumping. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did..

My husband and I stayed here last week and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The yard is fenced so the dog could run free. The dog park is at the end of the street within walking distance. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure was good in the showers. The WIFI had a strong signal. Close to the grocery store and gym. We would definitely stay here again.
