The home was perfect for the two of us, and even if we had brought the kids- it still would have been comfortable. The pool was so nice and the perfect size to laze the day away. Fishing off the dock was great. Watching the boats in the distance, sitting next to the canal with a cocktail or at the hightop with our morning coffee- every moment was pure relaxation. The home was decorated very well; no frills, just the right amount of amenities. I truly could have moved right in and stayed for good. We will certainly rent again. Only one suggestion: A better form of lighting for the dock. More ambient/cozy than what was available. It was much too bright to use. Thank you again for a great stay!

Stay Here! Beautifully styled house but more importantly - house is fantastically comfortable!! Great location, house spacious, kitchen wonderful and filled with everything you need. The house is very well appointed, and filled with interesting items. House is extremely clean - beds comfy and outstanding showers with fantastic water pressure and hot water! Pool Is perfect size and the right temp. Nice privacy. The View is especially nice @ the peaceful gentle sunrise. Be on lookout for tropical and local fish in canal. Owners were kind enough to accommodate us when our first rental had an issue. Vacassa was fantastic to work with and made the move seamless. Thank you!

We felt right at home just only better because we were on the water in the Keys
😊 this Airbnb was perfect for us and we are a large family ( 14, 11, 10 and 2 year old my wife and myself ) and we were supper comfortable.
The place was immaculate and smelt amazing upon walking in , the layout of the home is awesome . The interior vibe fits perfectly for the keys and the ac is ice cold.
The grill works amazing and we cooked multiple nights at the Airbnb because it was so nice being there and on the water relaxing. There are many awesome restaurants in Marathon as well .
The pool looks small but it was just enough to get wet and cool down from the heat and we all fit in there .
The fishing off the bulkhead was a no go but you can go walking distance to Two Conch’s and buy a chum block and throw it out back and it attracts some fish as well as manatees haha.
We definitely enjoyed our stay and will be back . Thank you

Pirata is a very calm and peaceful environment. Within a few minutes you can do any activity desired. We kayaked off Sombrero Beach, bicycled, went fishing and enjoyed Crane Hammock Nature Preserve. Several times right at the house we had a very friendly manatee visitor.

It was a wonderful house.Everything was just as pictured on the website.The dock was very convenient for keeping the boat at the house. We loved how close the house was to the Vaca Cut, making for easy access to the ocean or gulf.Great week.

We travel to the Keys every year for our family vacation, this was our first time at this home. This house was absolutely perfect in every way! The house was clean, comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, great location, very boat friendly and an awesome pool perfect for cooling off at the end of the day. We look forward to returning to this house!

We had a great time. Pool was a little green but overall, we had a wonderful time. Easy access to the Atlantic and Gulf for boaters. As the add says it's tight getting boat trailer in but is doable for the experienced backer.

excellent location and great place for those traveling into town for fishing. we had a 24 foot center console boat that easily fit at the dock and was a quick exit into the atlantic. kitchen was outstanding and was great to have an outside filet table!! bathrooms were tricky as we had 2 couples and 1 with kids. one of the bathrooms is in the room with the bunkbeds. our friends just shared this bathroom with their kids and we had the other bathroom with the washer/dryer. bathrooms were great- excellent water pressure! would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at this home during spring break with our college-aged children. We rented a boat from a nearby marina and had no problem docking it right by the house. We did choose the option to heat the pool being that it’s March in Florida and not always warm water temps.. It made it the perfect temperature! We usually finished our day sitting in the pool watching the boats go by. One day a manatee stopped by and we gave it freshwater from the hose. Definitely a highlight of the trip.

We really loved staying at this house in "little Venice" in Marathon. Kitchen is unbelievable, fantastic bathroom and the ocean is like right there! Manatees visited us at the dock too. We will stay here again

This review is for Vacasa and whomever the actual owner is. We loved this spot. I stayed with my Dad and were very comfortable, except glad that a few things did not come to fruition.
Pros: Great house, great location. Comfortable for 2 people. Vacasa was good to work with. Lots of appliances.
Cons:
1. The stove/oven did not work while we were there. Thankfully Vacasa was responsible enough to compensate us for this, but told me that the owner did not want to compensate us because we were paying such a low rate. We stayed at the end of November for a week for $2,168. For our budget, that was no kind of a low rate to not be able to cook on the stove and the oven. I'm glad there were not more than two of us and too much food did not get wasted. That would have really caused us to spend way more on the trip.
2. As far as we could tell, there is no air vent in the smaller front room. Glad the weather was hospitable, because those would have been some hot nights and days.
3. The second bathroom is entered through the bunkbed room. Just makes for an awkward bathroom sharing situation if you have to pass through someone else's bedroom.
4. Absolutely no food related condiments are provided, not even salt and pepper.

Great location for a family trip. Swim or fish right outside in the canal. We were able to park the boat right outside the door. The neighbors are friendly and the house is lovely.

Loved the canal right out back. We were able to rent a boat for a few days and easy access to both gulf and Atlantic sides. We saw manatees a few times and parrot fish right at the stairs. Also being able to bring our dog was a huge plus.

This home was perfect for our family. Beautiful view to the ocean, 2 manatees right off the dock, close to restaurants & stores. Heated pool was a must for my kids and they loved it. Would love to rent this house again in the keys.

Great location in Marathon. Home was very nice and had all the needed amenities. The waterfront location made for a fun trip. We spent hours fishing right off the back porch, enjoying the manatees visiting and using the pool to cool off after being in the sun all day. There are also plenty of kayak rentals nearby and you can kayak right up to the home after a long session on the water. The location in Marathon makes it easy to get to other areas in the Keys you might want to visit. Highly recommend the home!

Beautiful home in the most perfect location! Fit our family perfectly. Best bagel place right around the corner and close to everything! Manatee came right up to the doc! Fished off the doc and you could see the ocean from the house! We’ll def be back!

Our 2 week stay was excellent! The home was true to pictures although the pool was so much nicer than a camera can capture.
The responsiveness to the slight things that came up during our long stay exceptional. The dock, fish cleaning station, outdoor lights and ease of cleanup after a day on the boat made our stay perfect. Be aware of the vast fishing rules in the Keys which were a bit more complicated than expected but the Fishing and Wildlife guys are a wealth of info and want to help.
It was a nice, clean, stylish, affordable, and perfectly represented home and stay!

We loved this house so much, everything is new and the pool is great size for kids and the dick has great space for two boats, the rooms all have fans and the Ac cooled great. Bathrooms had towels and beach towels, and the washer and dryer are in great condition, we didn’t know which days were trash days which I would have liked to know since we missed one.

Perfect fit! We docked the boat right outside and had easy access to the Ocean & Gulf. The pool, while small, was great for cooling off and soaking up the sun. We had plenty of room inside & outside for whatever the day had in store!

We stayed at this house with 2 babies under 1 and a 3 and 4 year old. I was worried about the pool not being big enough for us but it was absolutely perfect, pictures do not do it justice. Our older boys had a blast at the swim up bar and stools! And of course dad loved being literally seconds from the Atlantic and keeping the boat in the water. So many kitchen accessories for cooking and so many towels! Would absolutely recommend this place!
